Serious question— how do you all factor in some of the “near bad” plays? JA had 3 near interceptions: the Van Noy one, the high point throw to Diggs that went right through the defender’s hands, and the huge completion to Diggs on the last drive at the sideline That the announcers thought was close to being intercepted. he also had the fumble after the early whistle. I think he had an A+ performance, but if I am being honest, there were some close calls.

it’s absolutely bush league. There are 100 fans at the stadium and we are at home, relying exclusively on the TV broadcast. if they couldn’t get that feed back up on CBS, they need to stop the game. What do they think this is? Some closed practice scrimmage?

Anyone else think the announcers today were dreadful? A really strong pro-Miami bias. Got pretty irritating.

Seattle really lucked out there. Dumb idea for Wilson to be throwing a bomb on 3rd and 1 at the end there. Cam looked sharp there.

agree completely. As the defender, you can’t be running with blinders on and not see a guy that is literally in front of you. Bad call.

Gabe Davis. Hands down. That TD was the absolute most critical play of the game and he made a superb catch.

I have found many of his prior reviews to be really far off base, and conflicting with others’ reviews too. So I usually don’t bother putting any stock in his reviews of the film.

haha— true. I think the reason that people are worried is because gesecki had a few decent games against us. Other than those games, he has been mostly a non-factor his entire career.

Wondering if we can convert Duke from WR to LB. He is usually the answer.

Just finished season 2 of cobra Kai. Wow— I have no idea what direction that show is heading now. They really went nuclear with the last episode.

That was a remarkably entertaining game!!! if only the Bengals could defend the same counter running play the browns ran 10 times on that last drive, they could have won!!

this is his second start in the NFL!! Not sure I have seen someone look this good so soon. He looks very poised and accurate.

I would call that a mediocre team.

Bengals are going to be decent this year. That is like a 6-win team easy, assuming they stay relatively healthy. The ravens are a super bowl team, which is why I think the browns-ravens game wasn’t a great indicator. I think the browns look like they will be in the hunt for a playoff spot this year— maybe like a 9-win team. They have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball.

Browns really looking good. They are going to be good this year. Last week’s game against the ravens was not a good indicator.
