that’s what I am worried a little about. I have younger kids (not that young). I think they have piano lessons and so I should be pretty clear while they are gone from 6:30-8 pm. Just need to strategize my plan from 5-6:30.

speaking of which, how are you all going to be watching this game? It’s a super awkward time. Even leaving work early, my wife Isn’t going to be thrilled with me watching a game from 5-8 on a Monday night.

I don’t know. I have seen them a fair amount this year. I think they aren’t in the top tier of teams. But then have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. They have some good wins too and have scored a lot of points. I wouldn’t write the browns off. Again, they’re no top-10 team, but I can see them in the hunt the entire year.

the browns are pretty good. Pittsburgh and Baltimore are in another league though.

Steelers are the best team in the NFL. No one is as good on both sides of the ball.

I was watching moneyball last night for the first time in a while. There is a scene where Billy Beane tells David Justice that the Yankees were still on the hook for $3M of his salary. And he said, “that’s how little the Yankees think of you. They’re paying you $3 million to play against them.” Pretty great line! Sort of the same with Bell— the Jets are basically paying Bell $6 mill to play against them!

Some of our receivers need to make some plays and get some yards after catch. It’s great that Beasley and others can settle into a pocket in a zone. But I’d love to see some catches and our receivers making a few guys miss and breaking off some YAC. You’d think a guy like McKenzie would do a nice job of that. It will all of a sudden make any team question giving the Bills “the underneath stuff” when we can turn an open 7-yard pass into a 20-yard gain. I also have to think this is pretty much what Brady and the pats have done for years— dink and dunk down the field. Seems to be effective— just have to make plays when get into the red zone.
