Is Matt Milano the Bill's MVP
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to BITE ME's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually think Antonio Williams is the MVP. We are undefeated in games where he scores at least 2 TD’s. -
The “team friendly” deal talk only comes down the line after you make a boatload of money. They’re going to pay him a lot of money. Maybe in 3-4 years, if the Bills need cap relief, he will help them out and restructure. But he wouldn’t be smart to take less now, and I doubt the Bills would ever even consider asking him to do that now. It’s almost disrespectful.

The running game has to be there vs KC this week.
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Toyo321's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is where I am at. I think we can win in a shoot out. i do think there will be some timely runs for us, including on draws out of shotgun. What’s interesting too is that we quietly went away from a number of very effective runs we used earlier in the year (inside traps; that delayed sort of stretch draw out of shotgun). I am wondering if we have been saving some of those and might dust them off. -
Re the running game, I had been thinking that Daboll has a lot up his sleeve re getting Singletary involved a lot this week. I think we will commit to running a bit more and you can tell the oline is champing at the bit to run the ball. Those linemen were going nuts when we got a few good runs last week. They want to pound the rock.

Missing that new coach and GM excitement
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The “first kiss” analogy doesn’t work here. I think the more apt analogy is this— hiring a new coach or GM is like filing for bankruptcy and having to start over. Your Credit is terrible, you still owe a bunch of money, you have a lot of problems, and your future prospects are risky and unknown. No thanks. -
This is where I am at. I really don’t like a lot of those chiefs players. But Mahomes is great. this may not happen, but it would be great to have his status determined and hopefully confirmed ASAP. I think the uncertainty over his condition is going to just detract from the run-up to what should be a great game.

Wyatt Teller 1 of the Best OG in NFL .
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One thing I remember about Teller was his mom was super mad when he got traded— I remember she went to Twitter to express her displeasure. -

Just finished season 3 of cobra Kai, and thought it was the best season so far. This may just be me, but the nostalgia was at an all-time high, with the references to KK1 and 2, and bringing back a lot of the same characters, themes, music, subtle references. When they re-did the song “feel the night” for a golf n stuff scene, felt like it was 1984 all over again! I also can’t believe that Martin kove (aka John Krease) is still such a brute. The guy is like 75 years old. say what you will about the cheese factor, but for us karate kid die-hards, this is an amazing trip down memory lane. -
Mahomes concussion updates
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Mahomes but he is surrounded by total low character trash guys like that. If that wasn’t Taunting, I don’t know what is. And don’t get me started on Hill. -

to your last sentence, isn’t it great that Josh is legit a solid guy you can root for? Odds are when you are getting your franchise QB, they are some bratty Texas high school star or golden boy from So Cal— totally unlikeable. Josh is gritty, humble, and a real underdog— very easy to root for. I have 16-year old nephews that aren’t even Bills fans and they have his jersey.
