i hear you. Maybe I didn’t phrase the point I was making quite right, or maybe I am changing it altogether—haha. Each of these games get bigger and bigger, and the experience in playing in them is so invaluable. i don’t expect a young QB to go out and dominate or win in his first conference championship or super bowl. Most guys don’t. But with each step of growth in these big games, it’s so awesome for his long-term development. I am excited for him to get this opportunity to show his stuff.

A sense of calm this week...
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
whats nuts is how stressed I have been for the first two games. My resting heart rate is normally in the low 50’s. I was wearing my Fitbit during last game, and basically just about every other play, it was spiking to over 100. I had to actually try to sit back and breath and relax. but this game feels like we are playing with house money. My hope is that both the players (and fans) can just have a ton of fun, and play loose. My hope for all of us is to really enjoy this game and be entertained, and of course hopefully win. -
That one was ingrained in my mind, and reminds me (hopefully) of what will happen this year. The regular season game against the Chiefs was horrible--they totally shut us down and ran on us very well. I remember I was terrified of that playoff game, and especially of their D line. They had Saleamua in the middle, and he was a huge run stuffer. The Bills just basically decided that they were going to run the ball right down the chiefs' throats in the AFCCG. And that's what they did. Imposed their will. It was such a total beatdown--I think Thurman had a huge game (Want to say almost 200 yards rushing even?).

Great player; great guy. Wish him all the best. A lot of QB’s will be fighting to land with the colts. That coaching staff, run game, and oline make it a super attractive job. I bet they could get a “prove it” free agent, like a Winston or Mariotta very easily and cheaply, and then can draft someone to groom.

I think Baltimore did a nice job on D. But I also blame a lot of our offensive woes on the wind. Guys were open, but throws were off or not attempted due to the wind. If Baltimore did one thing pretty well, it was bracketing Beasley. They doubled him more than I thought. If this happens this week, the Bills really need to feed John Brown a lot more. He had a lot of opportunities last week, and he will absolutely kill the chiefs if they cover him with their 3rd or 4th best DB. Cover 1 guys seem to mostly support me:

Great win against Miami tonight. Defense clicking and the offense looks a lot better when the guards can make baskets. Nice to see Edwards get some minutes. Tough stretch coming up.

saban just collects his buddies needing a career re-boot. What a soft landing spot. They will win a few national titles and those guys can move back into the NFL.

Only the jags promote their failures. I thought for sure Marrone would land somewhere in the organization too. Good luck to Urban Meyer!

I know our receivers are banged up, but I believe this game will largely depend on the play of our WR’s. In the games we have won, our receivers have made critical catches and executed at a super high level, especially in the red zone. Toe drags, diving endzone grabs, fingertip catches. We are going to need them all to bring their A games, and make championship level plays.

Why this game will be different than week 6
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When I re-watched the Week 6 highlights, I couldn’t even recognize the Bills. The offensive Sets looked dramatically different. The playcalling was very different, on both sides of the ball, but especially on O. And the personnel looked different too. I am not sure who all was injured, but Josh Norman seemed to get a ton of snaps (maybe Levi was out), and the D-line rotation was different. I think this game will look nothing like the first time around. I think both teams will figure out ways to throw the ball a lot more. And there is no chance the chiefs run the ball as much or as effectively. The Bills scheme and personnel is a lot better. Not saying they will shut CEH down— but he is not going to have gaping holes every play. -
Chiefs Walter Payton M.O.T.Y. Prospect

is this for real? Apparently, teams just nominate their worst guys now.
