    Exactly. In the scenario above, those o-linemen were well outside of the play standing around. I think they could call it, but probably don’t in that situation.

    re your last point On kickoffs, it is unclear to me whether Bass is intentionally trying to kick those kickoffs high and short. I was expecting the one thing we would have is a kicker who would kick the ball through the back of the end zone every time.

    They are circumventing the normal Fitz cycle. He wasn’t due to collapse for another 3 weeks. Dolphins are playing God here. They will be smited.

    What happened to Brown last night? He was basically taken out of the game. Same with basically Davis and Kroft. The only guys that seemed to be targeted were diggs and Beasley.

    I am feeling quite sad about josh Allen’s regression these last two games, but especially this one. He easily able to beat man coverage and pressure early this year. Not sure what happened tonight.

    I actually replayed it a few times. Not a super clear angle, but I thought the laces were fine (pointing out at least at like 10:00).

    exactly. I said this in another thread, but this D isn’t good enough to stop everyone doing everything. They have to game plan to take away the O’s best thing, and then hope that works. That’s what they did against the raiders, titans, and chiefs.

    I blame the 5 pm start. It’s an unnatural And unamerican time to start a football game. It ruined my normal TV watching rhythm.

    The Bass miss was tough because I thought one of the benefits of having a young kicker with a big leg is to make 52-yarders like that. He does us no good if he has a big leg and is missing by 30 yards.

    The D can only stop either the pass or run, and so their gameplan is to focus on one. It limited Henry in Tennessee and Mahomes tonight. But those teams used their passing and running games, respectively, to wallop us. unless we are playing a 1-dimensional team, we are going to struggle on D.

    The Bills D has been doing enough here. Forced a punt and turnover. But they will need to do more of the same. and JA will need to be accurate here.
