  1. Please don’t tell me he is eating shrimp cocktail at Tempo. Please. I don’t want any part of this guy.
  2. I sort of get where you come from. Less about the $$, more about the positional flexibility, for me. I would prefer to sign and pay guys that can play ST and offense or defense. just not worth it, IMO, to activate guys like Taiwan and Roberts, who provide nothing for you on offense, but eat up a game day roster spot. I’d rather have a bit of a drop off in ST talent for someone that provides more flexibility. That’s why I was hoping we would sign a guy like Burkhead rather that Tawain— Burkhead can get you meaningful touches on offense too.
  3. Don’t like this at all. I was hoping we would get a guy like James white or Rex Burkhead for that “other” RB spot.
  4. Whaaaaaa. this is nuts. What a great get.
  5. I actually thought for sure we were going to be signing him. Just a gut feeling.... I wonder if we were talking with him.
  6. Wallace gets unfairly maligned. Being the number 2 CB when no one throws near Tre, is probably one of the hardest jobs on the team. They also don’t often help him out with the coverage. He always plays hard and with good technique— just seems to be a step slow when he gets beat. For a #2 CB, we could do a lot worse.
  7. but don’t you remember the one great play he made in college against a 5’7” RB?
  8. Bojo seemed to eliminate some of the really bad mistakes that plagued him his first few years (shanks, dropped snaps, bad holds). That said, he still outkicks his coverage, and gets way too many TB’s. Not great really at directional and touch stuff. He will kick a few boomers, but I would put him in the middle of the league in terms of punters.
  9. same. I don’t get how this is an upgrade. I figured they would go younger and healthier. Bringing in an older guy who is just as injury prone seems really silly. That said, this team is not dead to Me (not yet).
  10. Holding the laces in finally caught up with poor Bojo!
  11. The new closer!! Who’s going to play middle relief though?
  12. we are way under our Williams’ cap, so these moves do make a lot of sense.
  13. I believe Burkhead and white are both gone. I was thinking the bills might sign one of those guys actually.
  14. I doubt that this was serious. he loves florida and brady.
  15. In a certain sense, this is an indictment of their failure to draft well over the years. You can’t draft so poorly And then pay a premium for a bunch of very good (but not elite) free agents. That is not a sustainable recipe for success. What stars do they currently have on their team that are homegrown draft picks?
  16. Easier said than done. All we needed was a great QB for the last 20 years.
  17. This is seriously insane.
  18. Let the circle of life begin again!
  19. I think Kerrigan, Haason Reddick, Jadeveon Clowney, Melvin Ingram, Aldon Smith, and Justin Houston.
  20. sort of an interesting deal. No signing bonus. As I understand it, the $26M is pretty much fully guaranteed. I wonder why it was structured in that way. Seems like it hamstrings the Raiders’ ability to spread the cap hit.
  21. I think this may have been when the really bad AB stuff hadn’t surfaced yet. Speaking of, I wonder AB ends up. He’s a free agent too.
  22. These early FA deals are really inflated. There is a lot of value out there still.
  23. So Much for “dipping his toe” in free agency.
