  1. I couldn’t watch after 30-10, and was stunned to see the score be so close. Anyone want to recap what happened for me?!
  2. I have never seen a luckier team. the fins get those unforced picks every week? I am just waiting for the special teams TD now.
  3. i think we will see James Washington a ton today over Johnson. He’s the exact kind of receiver that Wallace struggles to cover. Fast, good on the outside, makes tough contested deep catches.
  4. I agree. I really like wallace. He seems to always be in good position and plays the ball well. He obviously is just a step slow— consistently. But that is better than Norman, who seems washed up and, in very few opportunities, has gotten just totally burned. Let’s hope Wallace can bounce back or up his play.
  5. Couldn’t catch the BC game Today. 40 point win??!! What happened?
  6. good point. I haven’t watched Haden close enough to really evaluate his play.
  7. oh man. I totally forgot about DH Gate. I bought a Takeo Spikes jersey off there years ago (yeah, I know). I was asking for a Josh Allen for Christmas and my wife said the NFL shop was sold out. May pass on this link.
  8. That Joe Haden stats has to be misleading. He was a bit washed up a few years ago. I wonder if having Minkah out there has improved Haden's play, or covered his mistakes.
  9. not loving that Achilles injury by Roberts. I didn’t realize he was banged up.
  10. Isn't this a funny "problem" to have? How any years did we all complain about the Trent Edwards and others who only checked down?!
  11. good point. That one late throw he had (the 1-handed catch) was really the play of the game.
  12. I really believe JA needs to take a page out of the captain checkdown— Alex Smith’s—playbook. Dump off passes to RB’s and TE’s. He needs to get the ball out fast. Dink and dunk it. That is how Brady neutralized the Steelers for years, and how Alex Smith was able to move the ball last week.
  13. most of my friends are Steelers fans and they are mixed on him. Some of it has to do with how beloved Cowher was, and how Tomlin is always compared to him. its kind of funny— because, statistically, Tomlin is not only a great coach, he is like in the top-5 (arguably, top-3) of NFL coaches of all time. how can people argue with 14 consecutive non-losing seasons to start his career (no one has ever done that)? He smashed all the “youngest to do X” records, beating Don Shula’s records. He has numerous playoff appearances, AFC Championship games, SB appearances, and the 1 ring— all while playing in the same conference with the Pats at their peak. He has handled some of the toughest personalities in the NFL very seamlessly (Ben R, James Harrison, Santonio, AB, Mendenhall, Bell, etc.).
  14. I have to question the brilliance of McDaniels. Seems like Cam would play better spread out and with the training wheels off. They are obsessed with making him try to not make mistakes— which leads him to make mistakes.
  15. At least go like 5 wide and have cam Scramble around for a while. That was pretty obvious what was coming there.
  16. I have to say— the pats can run the ball. We really need to make sure our D can match that physicality.
  17. I love how the announcers think that was a great play by bryAnt. The ball fell in his lap.
  18. Terrible throw. If woods didn’t have such great hands, it would have been incomplete. Reminds me of the tipped pick we had against Arizona with Larry Fitz made a near incredible catch.
  19. haha— agree. Let’s go get that way back machine from Last week though!
  20. Agree. People on here are nuts. Just 1 week ago after the chargers game, the sky was falling. Now we are talking about running the table.
  21. no, thanks. I don’t need that risk of that sort of pain. just give me the easiest possible opponent. The Giants?
  22. Re McKenzie, I am surprised he’s wearing a shirt even.
