  1. Browns just royally botched the end of the half. Horrible offensive playcalling and execution on the prior drive led to great ravens field position. Then a Lamar makes a play.
  2. Good things happen when you hand the ball off to Chubb. The browns can’t get cute. Play to your strength— hand off, hand off, hand off...
  3. the browns need to copy what the ravens did there. Just hand the ball off to Chubb or Hunt. Over and over.
  4. Those sideline fade routes are maddening. The odds of success are like 1%.
  5. This is pure speculation, but I sensed that Wallace almost got “benched” after that Diontae Johnson drop— the one early in the game where Johnson was wide Open on a crosser that would have gone for a lot. Wallace must have been a good three yards behind Johnson. Right after that, we didn’t see him for several series.
  6. i really want the browns to eliminate the ravens. The ravens are exactly the sort of type of team I don’t want to see in the playoffs. Good running game, defense, and coaching.
  7. I watch a boatload of steelers' games, and you are undervaluing them. Of course that D is much better with Bush and Dupree and Haden (and Spillane, who I think is a beast in his own right). But even without those guys, that D is easily a top-10 unit. Your D-line and safety play is elite, and your CB's are all really solid. As for the O, Ben is not washed up. His arm is good. He's not as mobile. But the scheme is what is limiting them. They never committed to running yesterday-- even though the Bills' D has been gashed by the run at times this year. If they want to help Ben, they need to commit to running the ball, max protect, run playaction, and send those long receivers deep. Your offensive coaching is terrible--that was the difference.
  8. i would love to hear some more about this play. Can they pick like that there? He seemed like more than a yard from the LOS. If within a yard, you can pick, right?
  9. my buddy who is a die-hard Broncos fan said their entire secondary is Out of bad, and he is worried that Diggs will have a career game.
  10. great question! I wonder if he was deemed down by contact when he picked it. That would also explain why he was so tentative in running it back.
  11. OP, I agree with everything you said. if I had one small regret/complaint, I would have loved to see JA connect on that one bomb to Davis. He has yet to make that completion all year. Would have been awesome to see.
  12. same. I have been really critical of Taron and Levi (especially Taron). But what a play by both guys! Those were big-time plays on the ball. levi seems to be in good position and plays the ball well— he just is a step slow. We saw it on the TD and the INT— thankfully the INT was thrown late. But great play on the ball.
  13. I thought Williams played great. This isn’t to take anything away from him— but I found it weird that TJ Watt Seemed to just try to go with the outside speed rush every time. Maybe they just didn’t show the other plays— but it seemed like he didn’t try any counter or inside moves.
  14. daniel son, I disagree. Gesicki seems to save his career days when he plays against the Bills. Against every other team, he’s solid— but not like the HOFer we seem to get twice every year.
  15. Watching Steelers post-game media— major excuse train: 1) LBs injured 2) Haden out 3) oline injuries have caused problems running the ball.
  16. I believe we are at 0% at stopping them. what’s odd is that teams are converting in sort of the same way every time— I swear it’s the same throw to the back left corner or the endzone every time.
  17. exactly. Just a slap in the face. Seeing Tom Brady all giddy was not a pleasant sight to any bills (or Steelers) fan watching tonight.
  18. It will, for sure. That Denver defense is very good. They can run the ball too, and Lock looks good throwing down the field at times.
  19. How about NBC having to show the highlights of the Pats/Bills 56-10 game from 2007? Gimme a break.
  20. I said this in the GDT, but the Levi Wallace interception return was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I don’t know if he was shell shocked that he picked off the pass, or was looking for the flag— But he was totally confused, running in slow motion.
