  1. Is that a flag? I thought you can have helmet to helmet contact when the QB is the runner. that’s what I was always told when they never call that on JA runs.
  2. Just some horrible coaching down the stretch there. I also love how the raiders were putting the ball in Aghalor’s “Hands” there down the stretch. That guy shouldn’t even be on the field.
  3. well, pretty much called it. Just hand the ball off. They can’t stop Eckler.
  4. Notwithstanding the pick, I would love to have Mariotta as a backup.
  5. i am no math whiz, but something tells me that when we have 5 WR’s on the field against their 3 CB’s, there’s going to be a notable differential.
  6. McD's observation in that article is spot-on. The one thing I noticed is how Diggs has upped the play of those around him. I feel like drops are down this year, and the other receivers are making more ridiculous catches on a routine basis. edit: one other thing. I went back to look at Diggs’ GW playoff catch. I had no memory of that. Great play. I thought the Bills only suffer heart-wrenching plays— Saints must be sick to their stomachs allowing that catch to lose a playoff game.
  7. If we win on Sunday, I sort of hope they keep JB off the field through the end of the regular season. Guy has been dinged up all year.
  8. "Trent Edwards presents us with a lot of match-up problems." "Johnathan Linton is an explosive running back." "It is tough to contain an explosive edge rusher like Aaron Maybin." "I would consider Mike Pucillo as one of the better interior guards in the league."
  9. I think the Bills will play with some urgency. This game clinches the division and it will be their easiest chance to do that.
  10. I don’t want to play the Colts. they are balanced and peaking at the right time. Rivers has a history of basically being flawless against us too.
  11. I suspect Marrone will probably be promoted by the Jags. That guy is a survivor!!
  12. maybe I am overstating how good the browns D is. I sort of write off the first ravens and Steelers games, because those spiraled out of control really fast. But as of recent, I view their front 7 as really strong at stopping the run and rushing the passer. I believe the stats bear that out too. That is what makes last night’s game alarming (from the standpoint of the ravens being a threat)— They just ran all over them.
  13. His 3 TD’s. His 4th down TD pass to tie the game. His GW drive to get the FG. His ridiculous runs. All against a good defense in a must-win game. He has regressed as a passer this year. But because of his legs, he is super dangerous and it opens up guys in the passing game at times. I am just not understanding the Lamar hate.
  14. Lock looked really great last week— nearly perfect (280 yards and 4 TD’s). I haven’t seen him enough of him, but my buddy who is a Broncos’ Fan is really high on him.
  15. that is a good defense he played tonight, and he gave them fits. if we have to play the ravens, we are going to need to contain him. We haven’t done a great job setting the edge all year against mobile QB’s. I really hope we have the scheme and players to do it.
  16. that was as Billsy a loss as you can imagine. that’s why I cheer for the browns—- they are are kindred spirits.
  17. I agree. Fantastic game. Game of the year. Both of those teams too should be proud.
  18. I just remember Ryan tannehill of all people having his way with us on QB scrambles. And we don’t really have the same guys setting the edge as we did last year. i love how people are so quick to write Lamar Jackson off. I have seen enough of him to be worried of his athleticism. He’s done it tonight against a better defense than we have.
  19. Man, I really don’t want to see the ravens in the playoffs. Our D is not going to be able to contain Lamar’s running.
