  1. Re CB depth, you wonder if Josh Norman may be an option. I wasn’t a fan of this, but his knowledge of the defense and the comfort level by the coaches might make him pretty serviceable.
  2. I am not in any of the markets for any of these 7 pm games— but I guess they are randomly showing the Titans game where I am. I figured there was only one option— oh well. Will have to get it on replay.
  3. I am getting the Titans game. I thought the Bills was the national one on NFLN.
  4. I can’t get this on my directv app— huh?
  5. Yeah, that seems pretty hefty to me to be able to squeeze into an already pretty tight cap situation. But the Steelers have always been creative with the cap.
  6. I don’t understand how the Steelers can do this. Schobert has a pretty big contract.
  7. you can probably replace “EJ Manuel” everywhere you write “Jones,” and you’d have pretty much the same write-up every homer Bills fan was writing about 5 years ago. 😉
  8. I used to be a die-hard Coke Zero drinker, before I kicked that habit. Now I am a sparkling water addict. I even have a detailed rankings on my favorite sparkling water brands (with the glass bottle topo Chico clearly at #1).
  9. Very helpful. My gut has been telling me to call around tomorrow— mid-August is always the time I usually call.
  10. Had the exact same reaction.
  11. going into camp, I had Sanders as my “surprise cut” based mostly on concerns over injury and that he seemed to be right on the edge of jumping the shark. But from all these camp reports, when he has been healthy in camp so far, he has looked really good— so it seems like they may stick with him despite the injury risks. Will really hurt us if he is banged up like this all year.
  12. Same. It’s not looking good. Offense was really a lot better when JB was healthy last year— they need a healthy 2 out there.
  13. I really hope they implement a social distancing policy at the urinal troughs.
  14. Lamp is looking like an injury settlement cut. Does anyone know what his deal is?
  15. I agree with this personally, but the Bills seem to be 100% committed to Taiwan Jones. He is going to be on the roster and active every game day, even though he offers no positional flexibility or offensive depth.
  16. agreed— but I don’t think this Bills’ regime would cut a cornerstone player Like that, unless there was a dramatic drop-off. Plus, I can see them keeping him around, at a minimum, to help groom the young guys.
  17. So we wait all day for this!! Re Moss, time to step up A-dubs!!!
  18. yeah, not everyone is the same. But you would be surprised at the stats on this. This is something I just pulled up, even though it’s four years old (I would guess the numbers are even higher now): “Millennials value parental leave more than earlier generations, so much so that 83 percent of American millennials said in Ernst & Young’s global generational survey of 9,700 people that they would be more likely to join a company offering such benefits. What’s more, 38 percent even said they would move from the United States to another country with better leave policies.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2017/11/28/well/family/millennials-see-paternity-leave-as-a-priority.amp.html
  19. yeah, to each his own. My point is only that there isn’t the stigma of paternity leave there was once, or at least the fear of retribution. Millennials and pretty much non-boomers are going to take leave if they want. Amongst millennials, surveys indicate that things like work-life balance and leave policies are more valued than salary.
  20. Lot of boomers in this thread!! 😃 Times have changed. If you are a millennial or younger, you take your full paternity leave proudly. At a prior workplace, we had people leave all the time mid-maternity and mid-paternity leave to go other places. It’s pretty common. You Might irritate a few people, but with some good Messaging, I doubt it is grounds to burn bridges.
  21. Went to my 10 and 20 so far. i found my reunions to be interesting in the sense that the kids I was friends with in like 6th grade, we seemed to pick back up to when we Were at that point of time— even if we didn’t hang out at all in high school.
  22. Better get used to this heat. They are playing week 2 in Miami.
  23. I have always said that the blocked kick TD was the most important play in Bills history. That was the watershed moment that catapulted the 90s teams.
  24. just had a debate with a friend a few days ago about which candy cigarettes were better. I only liked the gum ones, which I would puff. He swears by the candy/chalk ones. In fact, he said he still buys the chalk ones. I always thought those were meh.
