Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
Edwards plays on his heels. Every other guy on this D seems to fly around and toward the ball, and he just strikes me as always taking a step in the wrong direction on every play. -
Bills 43, WFT 21 Game Balls!

Agree. I will give them the Gibson play. The McKenzie KO was just a dumb mistake. -

Since they are using Knox more, Davis is the odd man out. -

The d-line’s stuff on the 4th down sneak was worth the price of admission. -

I think you guys are being too hard on him. He has a huge ceiling, IMO. if I am Rivera, I think about giving him a long hard look as the starter. (The forcing thing is more of a maturity thing— you’d rather see that than a Charlie checkdown). -

he’s not really though “who he is.” He has 2 starts. his ceiling seems high. The guy is super mobile, great presence, good arm and accuracy. His guys dropped like a thousand balls. All I know is that in his two games, he looks better than any other new starting QB’s I have seen in a long time. -

By the way, I thought Heinecki looked good today. Great mobility And his fade to Thomas was text book. I think he will be the long term starter there. He just needs some more weapons and a good defense. -

Steelers loss was the best thing to happen to this team— specifically, for Daboll. We win that game and we are still running these empty sets and throwing the ball 100 Times. The balance and use of Knox and the RBs in the passing game has really helped the offense.- 361 replies

I predicted all week that we would see a lot of screens by the skins to slow our aggressive D. Need to stay disciplined. This was a wake-up call. -

Knox only thinks the extremely difficult balls are worth catching. -

I think it is more of a reflection of our depth. We could plug all three of these guys in next week if injuries hit and probably not miss a beat. -

agree. Consider probably his best two games last year were in ideal Weather conditions in Arizona (against the cards and Niners). hows the wind, wiz? Miyagi-son is worried…. -

So long as they neutralize the wind, then I am fine with it being open. We are at a critical moment in time when we have a super bowl caliber team and QB in a passing offense, when we are building a new stadium. We should be designing this stadium to reinforce the strengths of the team. -

ugh. They need to build a dome. We are undermining any home field with this ridiculous wind. -
Levi fined 9.5k for “taunting”
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think Levi’s was a clear taunt. But Lamar’s was too and probably worse. That sort of show boating is intended to be a slap in the face to the opponent. You don’t have to stare down a guy for there to be a taunt. The worst is Tyreek Hill. Some defender needs to just drive him into the wall the next time he does one of his show boating back flips, etc into the endzone. -
what do you mean by this? Is there video footage of him trying to bury her?

Eli made an interesting observation about halftime the other night. He said that it takes an eternity to walk across the field and into the locker rooms, and for the coaches in the booth to come down too. So, basically, at halftime, you go to the bathroom, eat some oranges, and talk to the coaches for less than 2 minutes, and then they tell you to get back out on the field.

What NFL player do you associate with a college?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
your choice of Marvcus Patton was very interesting, and it led me down a Patton internet rabbit hole. What an interesting guy! I always knew him as just a solid Bills LB, but had no idea about his backstory. Mom taught him football; walked on at UCLA; only missed 3 games in his entire NFL career; interesting post-NFL career. Pretty cool story. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvcus_Patton
