  1. did they get him an Antoine Winfield youth-sized jersey? Edit: whoops, that’s Singletary!! 😀
  2. i agree with almost all of this. But I will disagree with “he tried to do too much.” Roberts is a guy that you always give the green light to. Don’t care if he is 9 yards deep— if he wants to take it out, you let him.
  3. Where are you all seeing bad weather? It’s looking like mid 30’s and pretty clear right now, I think.
  4. agreed. Titans played him well, and they basically made one mistake, and he was gone for a 50-yard TD run.
  5. From what I have read, they are unpredictable with their blitzes--including numbers and who blitzes. So, it's tough to say how often they will bring the house.
  6. I don’t think they are built to sit back and play zone and rush 4. We will pick them apart. They will do what they do best. Play physical and blitz a ton.
  7. Has anyone seen any good articles on the specifics of the ravens’ coverages? I haven’t seen anything, other than general Stuff (they play a lot of man and do a lot of exotic blitzes).
  8. Related point, how pointless is it to fly from Cleveland to Pittsburgh? It’s a 2-hour drive!
  9. I have never seen Cleveland look so balanced as Sunday. For whatever reason, Stefanski gets away from the run game way too much for the talent they have there. I thought AVP called a terrific, balanced game. That said, it’s easier to call a great game when you get three quick turnovers and have a lead.
  10. Agree. I saw it twice on that same play on the same drive, including on the TD to Pascal. Even when Taron was going in motion pre-snap to follow a receiver, he was having a hard time going around the LB’s. On the “almost TD” to Pittman, same thing happened to Poyer. I wonder if the LB’s were playing up further to stop the run, and it threw off the spacing on those crossers?
  11. I actually really liked the refs during the last game. Yeah, they let everything go— but it made the game so much more enjoyable.
  12. I have said this since the KC game— our defense can basically focus on and stop one thing. They aren’t good enough to stop balanced attacks. And when the Bills get a lead, it’s great— because they just focus on playing the pass. The good news is that there aren’t a ton of balanced offenses left— KC, GB, and maybe NO? Everyone else is pretty run or pass heavy.
  13. They were open because the DB’s were running into other defenders on those all games. It was bizarre.
  14. Good article on Ravens’ defense. I am still looking for something that breaks them down more specifically— but this highlights their diversity of looks and aggressiveness generally: https://www.pennlive.com/baltimore-ravens/2020/12/theyre-unpredictable-baltimore-ravens-defense-leaves-coaches-around-the-nfl-guessing.html
  15. no, I hear you. I just don’t know how this guy goes under the radar and is out of football for most of the year. He looked great.
  16. I don’t get it— that guy was out of the league, but he was so solid last game. What gives? he also hand his hands to Hughes’ face about every other play...
  17. yeah, same. I have no appetite. I actually had a can of sparkling water open, and only had like 2 sips of that. And the entire game, I was either pacing or in a prostrate child yoga pose in the ground, in agony.
  18. thanks— good stuff! i forgot, but I would Add that Watson had 275 yards. what makes it tough to figure out is that the ravens really didn’t play any elite QB’s, other than Mahomes and Watson. (I don’t think Mayfield is elite, and I do truly believe that game was a total Aberration for everyone— it was l the most insane game of the year).
  19. You know who thrives in a heavy snow storm? Antonio “Harkens” Williams. give Dubya a chance, Coach!!
  20. Not sure you all noticed this, but earlier in the game, Tre seemed to be on Doyle. You wonder if they do something similar with him on Andrews. Reminds me of when we played the chiefs back in the day, and the Bills would Use Antoine Winfield to shadow Tony Gonzalez.
