10/18/21 Gameday Bills @ Titans Postgame thread
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it is just a product of our success. You see a lot of the good teams every year playing back to back prime time games against top tier opponents. That’s what NFL fans want to see. -
Well, looks like he went out there to die. pretty amazing all of the people reporting sightings of Laundrie recently. It seems like many of them were fully convinced it was him.

I have never seen anyone can blown up off a sneak that bad ever. Even if Dawkins holds his ground a little, then Allen might have a chance. -
Normally, I like standing pat. But I do think they should look for an upgrade at guard. I wonder if the Texans have anyone good they would move as part of their fire sale.

Case Keenum to start for Browns on TNF

i was thinking of doing the same. Between Winston and Keenum, and I am on the fence. -
Case Keenum to start for Browns on TNF

Keenum has to be a top-5 backup. I think he will manage and do as well as Baker would do. But if the browns can’t run, they are done regardless of who the QB is. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Humbled at the Goal Line
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
1) it would be interesting to hear Vrabel talk about his influences. But I have heard him talk of his formative early years with the Steelers under Jim Hazlett. And He has Hazlett on his staff, and his defense looks similar to the Hazlett-coached And LeBeau-coached defenses of the Steelers. 2) I may have misunderstood the OP re whether Vrabel is from the Bellichick tree. I will note that I don’t believe he ever coached under Bellichick. -
I like him, but the big knock on him out of college is that he doesn’t have enough vowels.

What are your thoughts on Ed Oliver?

It is pretty rare to not pick up the 5th year. There Has to be some major red flag. -
What happened to our red zone O?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Statistically, what is a good red zone offense? Right now, we have the most trips in the league, scored 100% of the time, but have about a 58% TD rate. by comparison, TB is in the low 60%’s and KC is around 70%. what is a very good/elite conversion rate? -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Humbled at the Goal Line

I will just say this about Vrabel— i think it be totally unfair to say he came from the Bellichick coaching tree. He didn’t. in fact, My theory is that his style of coaching is more of a product of playing for the Steelers than anything else. Play hard physical 3-4 defense; and run the ball. He even cycles through assistants and players in the same way as the Steelers do— just fit new guys into your general Framework and keep going.
