  1. or just having Tre shadow AJ Brown. Weirdly, they had Tre crash the line in run support and Levi shadow Brown.
  2. Titans we’re good, but I would rather face them again in the playoffs than KC.
  3. he gets that from his coach.
  4. Who are we rooting for here?
  5. Colin Brown. Wow— that’s a name I don’t care to remember.
  6. first off, my kids love that Matilda song! I downloaded it on my iTunes after I saw the musical about 5 years ago, and they love to listen to it on repeat! But beyond that, this doesn’t seem to be as radical as the author makes it sound. Kid can basically choose activities and food on her birthday. I think I would consider doing something similar.
  7. i thought the same re the Diggs PI, but went back and re-watched it, and they got it right. I was more confused with the Gabe Davis one— he seemed to be clearly in the end zone when the defender grabbed him. That could have Made a huge difference.
  8. I just finished reading the new Carmelo memoir. It was decent in parts, but too much ghost writing and was way too surfacy in parts where they could have really fleshed it out. It’s like they rushed to put the book out. One of the few interesting Syracuse tidbits is that Carmelo was coming back to Syracuse for his sophomore year. He met with Boeheim, and Boeheim basically said “over my dead body— you are going pro now” (though in much more direct and vulgar words). The other sort of interesting tidbit from Syracuse was that he roomed with Edelin, and Edelin had a little community of friends in the Pioneer Projects in Syracuse. Carmelo ended up hanging there and really being part of that community.
  9. I am no expert, but a wholesale breakdown in lane discipline suggests a coaching failure of Some kind. By the way, I never understood why teams in those types of situations don’t just kick the ball out of bounds. Back then, I think the penalty too was ball at the 35— so you had to go a bit more to even get into Hail Mary range.
  10. He said, “Tua is our starting QB.” I interpreted that to mean, “DeShaun will Be our closer.”
  11. on a related note, my 17-year nephew was telling me about his buddy who bumped into Myles Garrett the other day somewhere. This kid is not a football fan and he just shot the bull with Myles for like 10 minutes. At the end, this kid asked what Myles did, and he told him he played for the Browns, and the kid was like, “oh cool… sorry; I didn’t know.” Myles was very cool About the whole thing.
  12. I agree with this, but sometimes space is overrated. I was at this father-daughter dance a few years ago with a very popular NFL QB. Everyone gave him so much space that I sort of felt sorry for him. the rest of the dads were all Hanging out and joking around, and he was basically all alone, standing there with his little daughter the whole time.
  13. Lot of dust around here. Lot of dust.
  14. Agreed. I think what they are going to do is use Gilliam when they need to as the second TE, but probably run a lot more 4 WR sets. I, for one, am Looking forward to seeing Gabe Davis get some more Snaps while Knox is out.
  15. whats the over/under on the Wyatt teller regret threads?!
  16. The reality is you can put anyone behind that cleveland line and they are running for 100 yards.
  17. the reality is he is 76 years old. He’s not going to be snap chatting with these 17-year old kids. He’s probably dictating emails in 16-point font at this stage in life. Maybe that will cause him to lose some guys, but not sure there’s anything to be done about it.
  18. it was absolutely the right call for him to audible to if that is what happened. We had more guys on the line than they did. What we wasn’t anticipating was Dawkins getting driven 2 yards backwards at the snap.
  19. I don’t disagree with this. But I distinctly remember before this play, that the Titans seemed to be doing something tricky. They did several shifts and maybe changed the side of the play. Maybe that didn’t confuse the Bills— but it looked like it did in real time pre-snap.
  20. haha— not buying that at all.
  21. You wonder now whether law enforcement can actually be open about what they think happened. They have shrouded every aspect of this case in mystery from day 1. Just release what they have.
  22. I agree. The Titans shifted and changed their offensive formation like 3 or 4 times on that play, and you could almost see the Bills a little slow there in responding.
  23. Interesting take on Hughes.
  24. Lost in the shuffle, but didn’t Haack almost get another punt blocked against the Titans?
