NFL Sunday Ticket could be headed to ESPN+
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
1) I wonder if I were to continue on with DTV, I could still view it both on satellite and streaming 2) I am not believing anything about DTV giving up their monopoly until it actually happens. I know there is new ownership at DTV, but there are always these sorts of stories every time Sunday Ticket is up for contract renewal, and DTV always re-ups with exclusive rights. -
i already can tell that Mike White is going to take on Gibran Hamdan-type status!

Justin Zimmer to season ending IR - Torn ACL

Correct. -
agreed. Just a waste of money by the Rams. There were a lot of “contending” teams where OBJ could have gone and caught a bunch of balls and maybe made a difference. He picked one where they run the ball a lot and spread it around a lot— it’s like a better version of the browns. He might get like 3 catches per game, if that.
-
i know you are joking, but it is a little different. We need to run just enough to keep teams honest. The Rams passing game depends a little more on their run game and ability to Throw play action. They need those backs to get some consistent yards all game. We just need like a handful of positive carries— which seems pretty impossible at the moment!

i may just be misjudging them, but outside of Donald, that team doesn’t scare me. I am not sold on Stafford in big games— and if you can shut down their running game, the offense doesn’t work. I think the packers and Bucs are both still better than the Rams.

What’s funny about the Rams is that they accumulate any player out there and trade away all their picks, and they still aren’t go to beat either the Packers or Bucs in the playoffs.

Kurt Warner breakdown on Bills vsJaguars game

very true. Sometimes what heart knows, head forgets. -
Kurt Warner breakdown on Bills vsJaguars game

agree completely. I made this same comment after the Steelers game (and it also applies to the AFCCG last season). You have to see the blocking not holding up, and then change the plan. Help out that line. Get two TE’s on the field; max protect. -
Kurt Warner breakdown on Bills vsJaguars game

that’s a good point. I will say though on this particular play, if JA makes the correct read on the defensive end, it results in a successful 4 to 5-yard completion to Singletary. I just don’t think the offense and the progressions are designed to achieve that result. -
Don’t even bother getting your hopes up. This will be over before halftime.

Kurt Warner breakdown on Bills vsJaguars game
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Buffalo Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
agreed. He makes it sound on one play that the pass to Singletary is the first read and josh should be focused on reading the DE there. I am pretty sure Singletary is almost never the first read, especially on that play. -

and this one is no different. Wow. This was just awful by Kurt Warner. Josh wasn’t quick enough and so missed a 5-yard checkdown. He didn’t throw it right to Beasley’s hands (even though he did that to avoid a defender knocking the ball down). This is a lousy take. -
Calling all RB and OL Gurus, Your Input Please
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
What is striking about this play is that it seems like the jags did not respect the play action movement at all. If Josh runs play action there, it feels like it would have been wide open on the other side. -
If that is the case, how can you have such little pride in the quality of your work? It’s pitiful.
-
Can someone explain to me how Darryl Williams suddenly forgot to play RT? He was solid for us last year. Now, he looks totally lost. It’s very weird.
-
Good point. You might be right. I just figured he knew exactly where he wanted to go, and If one of those teams jumped on him first, he would hammer out a deal quickly. But you could be right that there may be a bidding war right now occurring.
-
The fact that he hasn’t signed yet I think is a reflection that the market isn’t as robust for him as he thought it would be.
-
“D-line is solid and secondary is garbage” was the report on the Jags too.

Thanks! I was just able to fast forward thru a decent amount of the replay on the ESPN app just now. I am loving Edwards and I thought Anslem actually looked very good too. I am thinking that Swider is an upgrade for this team over Guerrier.
