Week 1 - Cardinals at Bills - Game Week Thread

I am not stressing about Hamlin (yet). I think we will see him revert to more of his pre-heart attack form— more aggressive And hard hitting. Plus, we have Bishop healthy now, so I am Guessing there will be a bit of a rotation back there anyway. -

Ha! Deeds is one of my favorite movies and so underrated (and not watched nearly enough). I always am using references from that movie (“I like feet,” “Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa”)— and no one knows that movie!! -

haha. This is as misleading of a stat as I have seen. The YPA difference is .5 yard. And the TD difference is due to the fact that Milano only played in basically 4 full games. (this also doesn’t account for the fact that we had no Bernard or Milano for the last two games). -

Regardless of the content of what he said, this is bush league reporting. It reminds me of that movie Mr. deeds, with Adam Sandler and Winona Ryder, where she goes undercover like this (though later falls in love with him!) -
How have your fantasy drafts gone?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
In two leagues (12-team PPR’s). In one league, Yahoo gave me a D- draft grade with a stinging critique! Haha. i will say that the one guy who I always have had on my team and has finally paying dividends is Mostert. Dude is a beast! -

Build. A. Dome. (sorry, I can’t help myself! 😁 ) -
Agreed. Was also way overpriced, even for Hawaii.

I always have liked going to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Definitely a cool excursion. lots of great udon and tempura spots right around Waikiki area. Can’t really go wrong with any of them. would avoid Duke’s. Tourist trap with meh food.

New Depth Chart - Week 1
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Slippery Rubber Mats's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. don’t write Damar off! He was playing decent ball the year he had the heart attack. I noticed last year he was super tentative, and I think he probably wasn’t back in the right head space yet. I expect him to be hitting hard out there! -
Which college players are you most interested in (in 2024)
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to major's topic in College Football
Very curious to see Kyle McCord at Syracuse. As maligned as he was at Ohio State, I feel like he is going to play pretty well in the NFL. -
2024 college football season
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in College Football
It’s going to be a long season for Michigan. Defense is there, but clearly don’t have the QB or o-line this year to make a serious run. -
Sample size for pre-season punts seems too small to be doing rankings.

Brandon Aiyuk Staying in SF - 4 Years, 120m
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually don’t think they will have to pay Purdy that much. He is 100% a system QB and both sides know it. There isn’t another team in the NFL that will try to throw a lot of money at him. And he would be foolish to leave. I bet he gets something like a baker Mayfield deal— like a $30 mil annual salary. (I agree though that even with that kind of money, they will be jammed up next year with their cap). -
Despite his word salad interviews, he is a great offensive mind. Smart move.

Got out of all those practices and pre-season games, I guess. -

Total waste of money. In that scheme, they could trot Justin Shorter out there and he would be catching balls wide open on crossers too.
