  1. I would put money on the bills signing Holland. Makes too much sense.
  2. another fairport alum here! I played another sport, and got in trouble and I remember they brought be to Santini for him to basically chew me out! Ha! I still remember it.
  3. I have seen those at BJ’s, but had no idea what their purpose was!
  4. Good point. It’s a risk-reward strategy, I guess. You bet on a guy early, and probably are able to get a deal done on more team-favorable terms. But if the player underperforms, you are stuck. I do think though it more readily allows us to sign our guys and not get into contract wars with some of our best players. Imagine if we had waited on Dawkins— probably would have been too expensive to sign.
  5. listened to a podcast the other day talking about the demise of Boston Market. It was basically the cheap grocery store rotisserie chickens that did them in. There are a few Boston markets left, hanging on by a thread, with the operators basically running to the local grocery store for ingredients.
  6. Isn’t it something that the Bills basically never use the franchise tag? Testament to our front office getting out ahead of some of our really good players and locking them in (eg, Dawkins, Spencer Brown, Shakir).
  7. Where’s @HIT BY SPIKES in this great debate?!
  8. This might be veering into a “pet peeve” thread. But I have gotten so annoyed at all these reserved curbside pick-up parking spots at stores, that I now actively seek them out to go and park in them (even if there are other open spots nearby).
  9. Morris should leave. He is too good to be a #3 TE. Needs to go somewhere where he can play.
  10. fries with gravy is a game changer.
  11. haha— that’s a crazy story.
  12. Nachos or some sort of loaded fries option.
  13. Agree. I think this is the most plausible scenario. Wife dies of a medical issue, trying to go for pills. Hackman goes for help quickly and falls and dies. Explains why the one dog wasn’t uncrated.
  14. i ended up finishing it. I get why Hackman himself loved that movie, as his character is really interesting and complicated. But the movie itself is so-so. on my same Hackman kick, I re-watched Mississippi burning. Probably haven’t seen that in 20 years. Just an absolute classic. Up next for me is Unforgiven. Also a movie I probably haven’t seen in over 20 years.
  15. if I am the bills and making that trade, I am having some major wrist guarantees in that contract.
  16. I am going on a Hackman movie binge. Didn’t realize how many classics he was in that I haven’t seen. Started the movie “The Scarecrow,” which I had never seen before.
  17. Apparently they were “very close,” yet she hasn’t seen him in years because he lives way in New Mexico and she lives way over in California!
  18. in my view, the playoffs are all about execution. We seriously are a play here or there from already having multiple SBs. Just have to execute better in the biggest moments.
  19. Except Jordan Phillips made the biggest play at the biggest moment. And our QB had the ball in his hands with a great chance to go and win the game.
  20. This must have been a long simmering anger over the last 6 weeks.
  21. I think everyone guessed carbon monoxide at first. But that can’t be it. Like you said, dog locked in a closet?! then you have both dead people found in different spots of the house. This is definitely not carbon monoxide or a gas leak. I have heard some speculation about a double suicide, but that makes no sense too. Why lock one dog (but not the other two) in the closet for that?
  22. We ranked 32/32 in wrist recovery accessories.
  23. If I am a team in the top 5, I would already be a little skittish of taking yet another undersized speed rusher from penn state. Do they just grow these guys on a tree out there?
  24. https://www.yahoo.com/news/actor-gene-hackman-wife-found-084400257.html this is getting crazy.
