You gotta be kidding me.

We should get him to renege and sign him back— purely out of spite.

it has weakened both teams. Pretty nuts. -

Hill without Mahomes (and Kielce) is nothing to fear. -
Did anyone go to University but not make any friends there?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
i have a buddy who went to Rutgers and had the same experience as you. I think it must be the school. I have heard is it ridiculously huge. Also, I bet commuting didn’t help. At the school I went to, the commuters really had a strange and detached experience. I went to a small liberal arts school (about 2000 kids), and lived on campus. Really loved it. Two of my closest friends and my wife are all people I met in college. But otherwise, I don’t keep in touch with a lot of people from there anymore. -
interesting that you are hearing Cole is 50/50. I just assumed he was gone. He could really benefit from another year, especially where he might be the go-to scorer.
-
I bet Williams and Ojabo are both drafted before 25.

i haven’t studied all the receivers out there and what they might command. But I see Golden Tate floating around out there— I think he is a guy that you can play both inside and out. I don’t mean to be critical of Crowder. He may be the better fit, as more of a pure slot. Just hoping we can fill out the depth at the WR position.

What even is “spotrac”? It was viewed on here like the fifth gospel. The Book of Spotrac!

i hear you. But that’s why I was hoping we could get a guy with a little more versatility than Crowder. What was nice about Sanders last year was he could play both inside and out. Now, we have to find another receiver (probably in the draft) to get some depth on the outside. Unless, i guess, if Hodgins can finally contribute there.
-
I would have preferred someone that could play both inside and outside. Jets used crowder a lot on the outside, but he really struggled there. I think he is being brought in to play exclusively out of the slot. We still need someone who can back up Diggs and Gabe on the outside.

Beane should kick the tires on Stephon Gilmore

I think we tried to sign him, but he didn’t see the contract— he kept turning around and glaring at his agent. -
Anyone watching this TCU/Arizona game? Just heading to OT now. What a game.

2022 Free Agency - Around the NFL Thread
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Interesting to see the market at LB. Inside LB just isn’t a position of value as much anymore. Teams are investing more at d-line and the secondary, with a lot of teams playing more base nickel. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/20/plenty-of-inside-linebackers-are-waiting-for-free-agent-opportunities/ -

Agreed. I think the reason McKinnon is still floating around out there though is how injury prone he is. Chiefs don’t even want him back, and I thought he looked good the few games he played there. -

Breaking: Von Miller to bills, 6 year , 120 million

you know Phillips will magically end up with 8 sacks. Guarantee it. -
McKissinc changes mind, returning to Washington
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
That is what it seems like. Isn’t that unethical? I always thought if someone was represented by an agent, then the other side must go through the agent exclusively. -
ND is a real sleeper in this tournament.

Not only that. Miller is going to cause Ed Oliver to get double digit sacks this year. -

I wish woods well, but unless the titans restructure, it’s a risky trade at his contract (due $10M this year). We all Sort of forget, but he has been in the league about 10 years. That said, if healthy and at the right price, he would be great in that titans offense. -
Whaley interviewing for Steelers GM

My buddy is a Steelers fan and is high on him. I guess Whaley has a talk radio show in Pittsburgh and it is really popular.
