  1. With a long drive, and the ball almost goes in the hole. So which one of you was this?! https://www.yahoo.com/sports/watch-bubba-watson-nails-fan-203214945.html
  2. Key to success against Brady:
  3. He still plays at a high level. Can make all the throws. The problem is he doesn’t have his mobility, so he can’t improv like he used to. You are basically seeing Josh when he is 40 Years old!
  4. haha— whoops. I did the math wrong. That said, my point is why go for 2 with so much time left when you can’t hold constant the variable of the other team scoring.
  5. I saw this rumor floating around, but no one would confirm it.
  6. this is not smart. You never know if the other team will score. Like just what happened. Now the Steelers are down 3 possessions and not 2 because they didn’t kick the PAT. You gotta Wait until you need the 2 to go for it.
  7. are you serious? I mean, Ben is a HOF QB, but Josh makes some ridiculous throws.
  8. this may be a contrarian view, but I think it is impossible to have a balanced team and I actually think a lot of teams intentionally don’t have a balanced team. at the end of the year, the teams you have to worry about will have the best QB’s and passing games, because they can score the most points and have more margin for errors. No one is going to be worried about stopping New England in the playoffs. You gotta Worry about KC.
  9. This is giving me flashbacks to last Monday Night.
  10. that is the Norm— which is what makes last game so infuriating. Clock is simultaneously hitting zero and we get a flag?
  11. That indoor stadium is sure looking nice— just saying….
  12. Good for him! I think he knows he is a project and can really benefit from developing and sticking with it. That said, I really wish JB would play him for extended minutes. He needs a chance to get into a rhythm and build some confidence.
  13. Spot on. I am a big-time domer. But it is only because our team is constructed for good weather. I am all for the elements if we can use it to our advantage. I also don't see why we can't have a retractable roof too as an option-- what an advantage that would be. We open the roof when it suits our team and matchup.
  14. 50 MPH winds is a pretty good excuse though.
  15. Agreed. The “problem” though for the Colts, Titans, and Patriots is that their model will not win you any Super Bowls. None of those teams are built to come from behind or score in big chunks. Just wait until you get into the playoffs. i think teams like the Bills and KC have the better model.
  16. If anyone watched that game and thought we were inferior to NE, they are nuts. We are going to smoke them in a few weeks.
  17. I see your Antonio Williams, and raise you a Christian Wade.
  18. Honestly, that was a moral victory. They really kept it close 3/4 of the game. Just Couldn’t get stops.
  19. Absolutely. That was his draft profile. He was considered very athletic. They want guys it seems who are athletes and can pass protect and get out into space on these wide zone runs. The problem is all their athletic linemen aren’t athletic enough. Maybe they would be better off with some big beefy guys who can plow into defenders and run more gap-style runs?
  20. we are just not built to play in this weather. The 90s team had a solid running game when needed. You can’t have a pass heavy finesse game in our weather. It’s not the QB— the receivers can’t catch anything.
  21. The last place I want to play is in Buffalo in the playoffs.
  22. i am not disagreeing that our current interior oline isn’t great. But will investing high draft picks really help? look at the patriots. They have undrafted and late round picks at their three interior oline spots and their backup guard (Owenu— who is better than anyone we have). i think the problem is oline philosophy and evaluation. We try to get quicker athletic guys, not road graders. Maybe we need to change the type of interior olineman we are looking for.
  23. agree. I think we are a better team, and I look forward to the re-match. Games like yesterday are weird and based entirely on execution. Can you make a big play here or there, and avoid mistakes? The pats out-executed us— made one big run play, made two FG’s, and other than 1 fumble, mostly avoided any mistakes. by contrast, we made no real big plays, and instead had 4-5 huge drops, a horribly Timed penalty, missed a FG, and had an inexcusable fumble.
  24. didn’t we already do this a little with Morse (high paid free agent center), Ford (2nd round pick), and Brown (3rd round pick)?
