i bet you are right.
if you look at most metrics, there are like 20+ better left tackles in the league, including probably Dawkins.
I have no idea what anyone sees in Brown, except to confuse him with his dad!
the biggest breaks the Steelers got was not having to face the patriots en route to their two Super Bowls. Steelers/Big Ben would have had zero SB’s if they had to play the patriots in the playoffs.
That’s the problem when you get a RT to play LT.
That said, I bet the chiefs pay him pretty close to this— you don’t make that trade and then not re-sign him.
I am just a huge Rafa fan. Love his game, how he plays, the respect for his opponents.
I know you are a Federer fan. I always liked him too. And I don’t mind Joker. But from a style perspective, just have always enjoyed Rafa more.
I respect that. But I am in the other camp. I actually go further— Barry Sanders was the best professional athlete I have ever seen play. Just mind-blowing talent.
Interesting. I thought Bonilla was unique.
by the way, back when I was a die hard Mets fan, I used to love Brett Saberhagan! I loved those early 90s Mets teams (Olerud, Hundley, Gilkey, Fonzie, Ordonez, etc.).
i actually think the NFL will come down hard for no other reason than because of the owners’ irritation over the browns blowing up the market with Watson’s fully guaranteed deal.
I never really got into Curb Your Enthusiasm. But I was on a long flight today and watched a handful of episodes. I was actually laughing so hard at one point in time that I cried.
it was this scene where Larry keeps seeing his chiropractor’s nasty frayed underwear, and he tries to give him advice about wearing better underwear so he isn’t scaring his patients away. Absolutely hilarious stuff.
The Seinfeld last episode was always going to be too tough to really nail, just based on the nature of the show.
I think it was a decent way to end the show, by bringing back some of the side characters throughout the years.
weirdly enough, this was the first game I thought of too. That Royal misstep infuriates me to this day, and pretty much summed up his career with the Bills in that one play.
I think that game sticks with us because as I recall, if we won that game, we had a legit shot at making the playoffs, and by losing, we were eliminated.
I didn’t watch a lot of “king of queens,” but I have watched a few. And this hare-brained rental home scheme is the same one Doug pulled off on that show.
he and his pals rented an apartment above a restaurant to get away from their wives, and Doug ended up living a
secret second life for a while— a very hilarious and memorable episode!
