  1. Umm. Wow. Brown singlehandedly created that huge lane. That hole was so huge that when Gilliam ran through it, he couldn’t find anyone to block. That is one impressive block!
  2. Can we top it off with an awkward angry non-handshake exchange at the end of the game too, where BB looks like a spoiled sport? That would be a nice way to end it.
  3. This makes a lot of sense. You are slowly drawing me back to the dark side.
  4. In the past, I would have advised to just root for injuries. But I have turned over a new leaf to try to be a better person. Plus, Brady has become more likable now that he is in the NFC with the Bucs and is less of a direct threat. So, I am only going to root for the Bucs to win, Gronk to get concussed, and an errant pass to hit Bellichick in the face.
  5. But that would require me to do research And provide data to backup my point. Be reasonable, my man!
  6. The YPC stats are a little misleading. I think you posted them above, but I can’t find that post for some reason. I do think Motor has looked better at times than last year, and his long TD shouldn’t be “discounted” (though it obviously inflated his YPC). But Moss’s use in short yardage situations probably depresses his YPC. So, I think the stats don’t tell the whole story. I guess my main point is that Moss has really moved ahead here in the last two games, and I think if he were given the lion’s share of the snaps, the productivity from the position would probably be better and more consistent.
  7. I know Devin has improved from last year, but watching moss and DS on the field, Moss just brings so much more to the table. He hits the hole harder, is a short yardage bruiser, is very good out of the backfield catching the ball, and is a very good blocker. Beyond that, if the Bills go to that read option/RPO stretch action they ran a lot of during the WFT game, Moss is a much more instinctive and decisive runner. Devin was lost out there on those runs, just getting swallowed up looking for a crease. The stats from last game bear this out, with Moss having 13/60 (plus 30 rec yards), and Singletary with 11/26. I think we need both guys, but I would like to see the split be more like 80/20, than 50/50.
  8. hope to play next week? He needs to take it easy with that sort of injury.
  9. Looks like even you have fallen for the trap. trap games get fans too.
  10. These guys love their low character guys. Is there a team with more guys with criminal records or substance abuse/suspension histories?
  11. Ooof— talk about an awkward post-game handshake between LaFleur and Shanahan.
  12. was thinking the same thing. No real deep attempts by WFT. Bills only had a couple, so maybe it was the wind.
  13. Classic trap game. We have the chiefs and Titans the following two weeks!! these guys better be focused on the texans. Culley has them playing hard.
  14. Haha— in the minority? Even packers’ fans feel the same way. He is as miserable a player I have ever seen.
  15. but that’s the only play there. You let the ball hit the ground and it is a live ball. I am pretty sure it is ST 101 That on short high kicks, the guy closest to it calls a fair catch, even if it means the up guy. To me, that was a mental mistake/coaching failure more than a wind issue.
  16. i would agree with that. But you cannot let that ball hit the ground. I am going to go and re-watch it, but it was either on McK or the up guys to fair catch that.
  17. BTW, that FOX broadcast was unwatchable. They refuse to show hardly any replays too.
  18. No way is that KO freakish. That is just a total mental error— and something that has to be coached into these guys. Short kick like That— you go get it and call a fair catch.
  19. you could be right. The ST breakdowns thus far are almost all on coaching (eg, punt block and today’s short KO).
  20. If I had one criticism of this game, it was ST. In 3 games this year, I think we have been outplayed on ST in at least two of those games. Today, it was the KO turnover and a penalty negating the nice McKenzie return. They did down the one punt inside the 5. But I think they lost the ST battle overall today. we invest too much in ST to have it be a real negative mark on this team.
  21. Edwards plays on his heels. Every other guy on this D seems to fly around and toward the ball, and he just strikes me as always taking a step in the wrong direction on every play.
  22. Agree. I will give them the Gibson play. The McKenzie KO was just a dumb mistake.
  23. Since they are using Knox more, Davis is the odd man out.
  24. The d-line’s stuff on the 4th down sneak was worth the price of admission.
  25. I think you guys are being too hard on him. He has a huge ceiling, IMO. if I am Rivera, I think about giving him a long hard look as the starter. (The forcing thing is more of a maturity thing— you’d rather see that than a Charlie checkdown).
