My wife has relatives who live right out by where he crashed— I have driven on those roads many times. Just your normal country roads. -
Who Do The Bills Sign At Cornerback?

yeah, I was wondering about Neal. I figured he would see major snaps and don’t recall him out there against Miami. Re McCloud, I think he has been inactive every week for the giants. Maybe they would give him back for a 7th rounder that could develop into a 6th rounder based on playing time? -

I inexplicably took my Allen jersey off at halftime. No idea why too. Sorry, guys. -
Kudos to Defense - The Offense is What Failed

haha— true. I will say that if you want to fault the red zone efficiency, blame the defense. They gave up 3 for 3 inside the red zone. Johnson was late on the slant; Johnson penalty gave the dolphins new set of downs inside the 5; and the other one the run D didn’t hold up. -

I don’t think anything failed us. A few execution errors and flukey plays is the difference. Can’t win them all And can’t convert 100% of the time in the red zone. -
63 Passes and not a single hold or PI???

thats the problem with the back judge making that call. He had no angle of Johnson actually pulling up. It was actually a pretty critical call in the game. -
on the first question, you are absolutely right. If you throw a red flag there on a play that cannot be challenged, it is supposed to be a flag. McDaniel threw it to challenge a non-call on an intentional grounding. Should have been a penalty.

This game exposed we rely to much on Josh again

I did think after moss broke that big run, there was an opportunity to keep pounding Moss. The fins D had to be tired too by that point. -

That’s true that a lot of guys for them gutted it out. But it seemed like the same could be said for us. Diggs was cramping up every other play and McKenzie was throwing up— and they kept coming back. -
The running scheme is killing me. Not sure why we can’t draw up some of the same running plays that Miami ran today with the misdirection. Not that they ran super well, but there were at least some lanes for the back.

to my eye, there is no chance he can get out of bounds based on how the defender came in. He would have to have run backwards to do so, and that would have probably caused the clock to keep rolling.

I think the later start time there helps with the heat. I don’t think the heat index is over 100. -
It seems like a lot of teams across the league are getting hit too.

Had a debate about this earlier this week about this. I was worried about our ability to handle the blitz. While we obviously handled it well to have a very great offensive performance, where it hurt us was on a few key plays (the fumble and some of the pressure generated in the red zone). And we were never able to really Make the dolphins pay with a huge pass play. will be curious to see how it goes next week, because the ravens are going to bring it too. They aren’t sitting back in a shell. -

Johnson and Hamlin are sort of different types of safeties. I was impressed at how well they hit and tackled and blitzed. Don’t think they have the cover skills that are anywhere close to Hyde and Poyer. -

totally agree. If they run it with him, what about that pulling sweep they ran last year?
