Giants prepared to release CB Bradberry (now released)
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
agreed. I think any of those teams could win that division. I actually thought the broncos had the best talent across the board last year. Now they have an all-pro QB— I think they could be the team to beat in the west. -
I would have kept Hughes. He is reliable and still great off the edge. You pair him with a Von Miller, and he is a 5-8 sack guy. interestingly enough, Hughes and Von Miller are about the same age (about 7 months older than Von).

I wear a 1984-style Casio calculator watch. For real. I always get major props on it.

Tom Brady will be Fox’s lead NFL analyst once he retires

Classic Fox. Dark hues, early 90s dancing robots, boring 4 PM NFC games, and now evil incarnate in the booth. -
Different field goal holder?

There is a great article in the Athletic from a few days ago on this, and Araiza being able to hold. Lots Of analysis from Moorman. -
I am loving this meme!! I have never seen it before.

In honor of Mother's Day....Greatest TV Mom's of all-time?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
I am a child of the 80s, and I have to say that there aren’t a lot of your “prototypical” moms in any of the classic 80s shows. For example, Clair Huxtable played second fiddle to Bill on the Cosby Show. Judith Light was the same to Tony Danza on “who’s the boss?” There were a lot of shows that didn’t even have a mom character, like “my two dads,” “different strokes,” and “full house.” It seems like the butler or housekeeper was the more prominent figure in that era (Benson, Mr Belvedere, Tony Micelli, etc). -
I saw that Schefter was able to get some photos of him there too— looks pretty similar!

Looking Ike Domingue is back in goal for the pens on Thursday. Just hope he retains some of that magic from game 1. Tough to be down to your third string goalie at this point.

I hate to say it, but I have maybe watched like 5 regular season games this year, if that. The hockey season can be a grind for the casual fans. But I am usually better than that!
-
Agree. I was fully expecting him to take a bad penalty at some point, causing them to lose. He has a knack for that, especially in games where he struggles.
-
Disclaimer: I am a penguins fan. that was an epic game. Those guys have to be spent. For the rangers to lose too, you wonder if it will leave a bad psychological mark for the rest of this series.

That’s nothing. I present to you our favorite Buffalo Bill, Bobby Hart:

I believe this is the guy whose motto was: ”Don’t worry. There is no surer bet than a Penn State running back.” -

great post. BTW, you know which other small school corner ran a 4.5 40 for us? Terrance McGee. He worked out pretty well. -

Beane said in his presser that the plan is to start him with the corners, since it is always easier to transition over to safety. -

Rd 6, Pick 180 (1): Punter Matt Araiza, San Diego State
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the comp is Bojo, I am okay with it still. It took him a while, but Bojo became better with hang time and pooch punting over time. But there were growing pains with him outkicking coverage, etc. Just going to have to develop some of that with Araiza. -
Benford. I feel like this guy is going to turn into an elite safety for us. Big (Poyer and Hyde size), good tackler, and great hands/cover skills.

he would need to make it to the PS for us to protect him. If we had to cut him, I suspect he might get signed elsewhere first. That said, maybe my fears over him not working out as a holder are inflated, in light of the Bojo experience.
