  1. helium balloons— haha. So true. I know he didn’t want to get those batted down, but he needs to call up Trent edwards for some lessons in check down throws.
  2. Can I just say that last night also showed how many great offensive playmaker receivers we have on this team? Gone are the days of Zay Dropping easy balls, or Duke Williams unable to hang onto contested catches. All our guys are balling and making ridiculously athletic and difficult receptions.
  3. Thats how I read it. I think He expected someone to be coming to hit him. Kinda stinks— because he could have walked in.
  4. Same. I was puzzled they would pick Sanders over JB. Now I know!
  5. that painting looks like something in Napoleon Dynamite’s house.
  6. then like the first play, we throw a pick off a dropped ball by Andre Roberts of all people. It was like that whole game was played in bizarro world.
  7. This. I have always been a big Levi defender. But in this zone heavy defense, I think you can get a draft pick to fill in at CB2.
  8. I have to say that getting hit with a plastic water bottle doesn’t warrant that severe of a response, especially since everyone there was already drenched!
  9. so between last night’s stats and this one, Josh is on track to be either Cam, Culpepper, or Freeman. Some damning praise there.
  10. i would be really tempted to bubble wrap him, so he could get this week and the bye to rest up.
  11. I forgot About this, but Travis Kelce was fined for ripping on this same Carl Cheffers crew a few years ago: "Referee No. 51 shouldn't even be able to wear a zebra jersey ever again," Kelce said, per Teicher. "He shouldn't even be able to work at !@#$ Foot Locker." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2688307-travis-kelce-fined-for-criticism-of-referee-carl-cheffers-details-and-reaction
  12. Thanks! This is really good stuff. I was listening to the Cover One podcasts all week, and it was made clear by everyone that Josh would feast in the intermediate area. So it was sort of surprising that that wasn’t the case. I can only think of like 2 attempts to that area even.
  13. it’s not so much the results— it is that what occurred last night was unlike any of our normal good offensive performances and unlike Any of the chiefs bad defensive performances. All week, the talk was the way to crush the chiefs on D is to have your RB’s run the ball and hit them With lots of intermediate throws over the middle. But that didn’t happen. So, I am curious what the chiefs were doing defensively out there.
  14. You have to admit it was a strange game, given how the bills O as chiefs D usually play. outside of knox’s first catch, I am not sure we got anything into the intermediate area— which is where the chiefs have been really bad all year. I am curious as to what the chiefs did there in terms of coverage to Basically shore that up.
  15. I don’t mean to be critical after a win, but the chiefs seem to really confuse the Bills’ offense over these last 3 meetings. We got them on some big plays last night, but the offense seemed out of rhythm all night. Coming into the game, we heard that their Run D was terrible And that they give up a lot of passing in the intermediate area. But the Bills didn’t run the ball great, and didn’t find success in the intermediate area. Diggs and Beasley were non-factors outside of the Diggs bomb. This isn’t meant to be critical of the O— but my question is what exactly were the chiefs doing on D? (Eg, what coverages, how are they confusing us and stopping our receivers)?
  16. You need a new poll. It should be: which team is the most worried to play the Bills?
  17. I thought the personnel On offense last night was fascinating. There were a lot of times We had like McKenzie or Davis as the lone receiver out there. Lots more of Gilliam and even Sweeney. When on the field. I think the chiefs took away Cole, and he is generally frustrated— doubt he is mad at the Bills.
  18. i actually don’t think this game looked like the Tampa SB. In the SB, TB just harassed and pressured Mahomes. And they only could do that because the entire KC o-line was injured. Tonight, we got Steady pressure on him, but he had time— our coverage was just really great, as was our run D.
  19. I agree. This crew was a tad over officious, but almost all of the calls can be defended. It’s not like a rookie crew— they reffed the super bowl last year.
  20. i don’t have a problem with the bills grabbing on defense today. There weren’t going to have a repeat of last year, and you could tell it really bothered the chiefs. Yeah, they got busted some, but I think it was a good calculated risk.
  21. I can’t believe we had 0 turnovers to 4 by KC. Not even a Singletary out of bounds fumble!
