  1. Fascinating breakdown— very different. i will say that I think they mastered how to use both Beasley and McKenzie now. Both guys contributed extremely well.
  2. Agreed re that Hyde interception. Re the McKenzie fumble, the CBS broadcast was hopeless. They didn’t tell us anything about that or many other plays. Very few replays. A few times they were late even telling us about a penalty.
  3. Amazingly, it was a throwaway, per Josh. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/01/16/josh-allen-first-td-pass-was-a-throwaway-i-had-no-idea-dawson-knox-caught-it/
  4. I have never seen anything like it, but I believe the Bills got every single “break” last night. It really felt like a curse was broken. Consider just these plays: 1) Allen tries to throw the ball away, yet amazingly Knox catches it for a TD (an extraordinarily difficult catch too). 2) McKenzie apparently fumbled the opening kickoff, but it went harmlessly out of bounds. 3) Milano tips a ball, and Wallace makes a diving interception off of it. 4) punt hits Neal in the foot, and Hyde was able to not only recover it, but then run it back 50 yards. 5) Doinked in PAT by Bass. 6) several wide open patriots just dropped balls. We played a great game in every way. But it was nice to get those good luck bounces for once.
  5. I present to you— the greatest thing I have ever seen. Bill Bellicheck’s post game presser:
  6. Serious question: did that game wrecker Matt Judon play today? (okay— not a serious question).
  7. that has been a revelation. We have been so much better on short yardage situations with that package.
  8. the announcers were passable. The production was dreadful. Just lots of dead space, very few replays, and very little explanation. I think they phoned it in at halftime.
  9. oh yeah— what happened on eve blocked PAT? Don’t think they showed a good replay of that either.
  10. just to give you an example. They had that super long replay review on the first Singletary TD. They never showed the replay the entire time. It was only until after the play was confirmed and after the PAT that they got around to showing a replay. Just amateur hour over at CBS.
  11. i thought the entire CBS broadcast was pitiful. Very few replays all night.
  12. Quick question. I had the sound off for the Hyde PR, so I may have missed the announcers saying this. But on that PR, did the ball hit the gunner’s leg? It looked like it to me.
  13. i was going to post something similar. It’s not just the interior play either— both tackles have been playing so much better also. I think you have scheme and talent and execution coming together at the same time. (Don’t think they had a single penalty on them either).
  14. I can’t seem to find any post-game pressers. I beg of you— if someone is able to post clips of the BB presser, it would make my day. I have waited my whole life to see that press conference.
  15. Good point. Just about every player was clicking on every cylinder.
  16. Maybe Agahalor having a monster last drive against our fourth string CB? That could be something to build on?
  17. My young kids are only now starting to watch some of the games with me, and kind of following along. They were like— “wow, this “NE’ team is really bad!” If they only knew the journey to tonight!!
  18. Micah Hyde. Except for that sort of broken coverage on the TD to Bourne, that has to probably be the best game I have seen from Hyde. That pick was ridiculous.
  19. This game came down to execution. The Bills just did everything better— caught passes, made tackles, threw passes, made blocks, hit on runs, finished plays. the only thing the pats did better on was kicking!
  20. That was like re-living my wildest dream— right down to BB storming off the field.
  21. Interesting that Cam is active and Ankou and Obada are not. I wonder if they think the pats will Be coming out throwing.
  22. That’s pretty much the best compliment I have gotten on this board!!
  23. This is very unfair. There is not much more work he really could have done. He already mastered the 4-yard pass.
