I do wonder if anyone claims him. Too risky to sign him off waivers. If he is mad and doesn’t report, then I think that team has to eat the salary. I could be wrong, but I suspect the restructured deal with the Browns is designed such that no one will put in the claim on him for that reason, and so he gets to pick his new team.

Re those stats, we also now know why their “hang time” is comparable. Haack takes like 3 extra steps before he punts!! I read that too. But then why not have a WR, like a Kumerow hold? He pretty much only plays special teams and as a receiver, he probably has better hands than the punter to catch and spin the ball.

They also love to sign problem guys. OBJ would fit right in there.

Agreed. Wilson is going to be good, IMO. He needs time to relax, not press, and process from the sideline. Even a few weeks here will really help him out.

This game is going to get ugly if the Jets can’t stop the run here and they don’t get White back in.

Gotta say that reich is calling a really nice game here. Playcalling is very balanced. Not sure if he calls his own plays or not. But Colts have good rhythm.

he is also fearless. He made like 3 or 4 accurate throws downfield into tight zones. Not these little easy Tua and Mac check downs.

He is shredding very solid defenses with almost no legit skill players around him. I am pretty impressed.

Does anyone know anything about the Jax stadium re weather conditions? Looking at the forecast for Sunday and it will be a little windy (10-20 mph).

To play the devil’s advocate, I do believe it seems rare for rookie kickers to have immediate success. I have no idea why, since there can’t be any sort of learning curve. But I remember looking at this before, and a lot of rookies flame out, and they only latch on and have success after they have bounced around to a few teams. Guys like Bass and Butker seem to be more of the exception.

I can’t believe the titans were so woefully unprepared for a Henry injury. They had really no replacement on their roster even; McNichols is a skat back.

I am late to the party on this, so sorry if it was posted. But I just watched that OBJ Sr. video, with the perfectly timed plays to REM's "Everybody Hurts"--- umm, hilarious!!!
