  1. agree completely. I made this same comment after the Steelers game (and it also applies to the AFCCG last season). You have to see the blocking not holding up, and then change the plan. Help out that line. Get two TE’s on the field; max protect.
  2. that’s a good point. I will say though on this particular play, if JA makes the correct read on the defensive end, it results in a successful 4 to 5-yard completion to Singletary. I just don’t think the offense and the progressions are designed to achieve that result.
  3. Don’t even bother getting your hopes up. This will be over before halftime.
  4. agreed. He makes it sound on one play that the pass to Singletary is the first read and josh should be focused on reading the DE there. I am pretty sure Singletary is almost never the first read, especially on that play.
  5. and this one is no different. Wow. This was just awful by Kurt Warner. Josh wasn’t quick enough and so missed a 5-yard checkdown. He didn’t throw it right to Beasley’s hands (even though he did that to avoid a defender knocking the ball down). This is a lousy take.
  6. In addition, JA bails out the Oline on just about every play. Even consider the TD pass to Gabe last week— he dodged two free rushers, was then grabbed by the facemask, and threw the TD.
  7. What is striking about this play is that it seems like the jags did not respect the play action movement at all. If Josh runs play action there, it feels like it would have been wide open on the other side.
  8. If that is the case, how can you have such little pride in the quality of your work? It’s pitiful.
  9. Can someone explain to me how Darryl Williams suddenly forgot to play RT? He was solid for us last year. Now, he looks totally lost. It’s very weird.
  10. Good point. You might be right. I just figured he knew exactly where he wanted to go, and If one of those teams jumped on him first, he would hammer out a deal quickly. But you could be right that there may be a bidding war right now occurring.
  11. agreed. for those complaining, who do they want the bills to cut to sign fells? Sweeney had a bad game last week, but I am not ready to pull the plug on him. He has flashed, including only a week ago.
  12. The fact that he hasn’t signed yet I think is a reflection that the market isn’t as robust for him as he thought it would be.
  13. “D-line is solid and secondary is garbage” was the report on the Jags too.
  14. Thanks! I was just able to fast forward thru a decent amount of the replay on the ESPN app just now. I am loving Edwards and I thought Anslem actually looked very good too. I am thinking that Swider is an upgrade for this team over Guerrier.
  15. Couldn’t see the opening game due to it only being on some weird channel. Looked like we shot the ball well. Anyone catch it?
  16. wow— that is so petty. That guy should seriously be banned from reffing games.
  17. this may be accurate— because I saw a lot worse play from the other linemen.
  18. I haven’t watched this yet, but I saw in real time and then on replay Morse get blown up multiple times. I also noticed that all 3 interior linemen could not block a stunt, and that Williams was confused several times as to the number of the guy he was blocking. There was one play where three Bills were blocking 1 guy. these are all mental errors, and I don’t understand why they all occurred consistently throughout the entire game all across the line.
  19. Y’all remember when Wyatt’s mom took to Twitter after he was traded and told The Bills, “you’ll be sorry!!” we all laughed. and she was right.
  20. These announcers were so bad too. They are screaming at how close the kick was, and it was 10 yards short!
  21. what? You wouldn’t go for 2 when the game is tied?!
  22. The owners and coaches like these taunting calls. I don’t get it. Such severe consequences on the game. Why not just fine guys instead if you’re so worried about it?
