    Kind of better than reaching on a receiver. This is the kind of “receiver” we needed— hopefully can finally have a great screen and check down game. Herbert throws 2-yard dump offs to Ekler who gets like 12 yards out of them. Hoping Cook will be the same kind of weapon.

    there is that school of thought that you just draft QBs and see who sticks. But I don’t think any team has tried it.

    amazingly, Willis will be there when the Steelers draft in the second. They could take both Pickett and Willis if they wanted!

    it is a scheme thing with cockrell. He is a very serviceable zone corner. Can’t really Play man well. He has had a solid 8-plus year NFL career.

    it is super dumb. if the Bills stood pat, there was a chance Elam would be gone and they would have had to have reached on a player with a second round grade. I would rather them hedging their risk with a 4th round pick than reach for a guy they probably could get in the second round.

    interesting. I used to feel the same way about Texas players under Mac Brown. Super soft and coddled— one of the reasons I didn’t like our infamous Mike Williams pick. thanks for reminding me that I am getting old!

    I just have to say that the deal of the night was the ravens sending Hollywood brown to the cards for a first round pick. I couldn’t imagine giving up a 3rd or 4th round pick for him. Just nuts.

    Ugh re the thanksgiving day game. That is a tough time to watch with family and cooking, etc. Wish we had the night game.

    just based on seeing Hutchinson play a lot and my gut instinct, I believe he will be a huge bust. Just an average end. I don’t see him projecting to Bosa or Watt type production, which I assume most are comparing him too.

    I have only had positive experiences with DH Gate. In fact, my DH Gate jerseys are much better quality than my official NFL one.

    and his value is based solely on how the 49ers use him in their run- heavy scheme— which is very unique and also which is going to cause him to be constantly injured. He is not going to last in this league.

    Take a look at the NFL personal conduct policy. It is very broad. If the NFL finds that he did this and it rises to the level of harassment (which is what revenge porn is a form of), then he will likely be punished.

    If true, regardless of any criminal action, he will be punished for this under the league personal conduct policy. This would be a clear violation of the “harassment” provision. I don’t know what the comps for suspensions would be, but I am thinking it is in the 3-6 game range (6 seems to be for physical domestic violence).

    “king of the hill” must have been a popular Rochester game. We played it there too all the time. When storms hit, the plows would plow a ton of snow into the middle of neighborhood cul-de-sacs, and that would be the mountain on which we fought for survival.
