  1. i hear you. But that’s why I was hoping we could get a guy with a little more versatility than Crowder. What was nice about Sanders last year was he could play both inside and out. Now, we have to find another receiver (probably in the draft) to get some depth on the outside. Unless, i guess, if Hodgins can finally contribute there.
  2. I would have preferred someone that could play both inside and outside. Jets used crowder a lot on the outside, but he really struggled there. I think he is being brought in to play exclusively out of the slot. We still need someone who can back up Diggs and Gabe on the outside.
  3. I think we tried to sign him, but he didn’t see the contract— he kept turning around and glaring at his agent.
  4. Anyone watching this TCU/Arizona game? Just heading to OT now. What a game.
  5. I don’t think his draft stock is going to drop actually. Same with that receiver from Alabama.
  6. Interesting to see the market at LB. Inside LB just isn’t a position of value as much anymore. Teams are investing more at d-line and the secondary, with a lot of teams playing more base nickel. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/20/plenty-of-inside-linebackers-are-waiting-for-free-agent-opportunities/
  7. I think we already have all our defensive ends. Miller and Shaq basically replaced Hughes and Addison. I guess we could arguably have a need for a replacement for Obada, but wouldn’t surprise me if they used that on a late-round rookie.
  8. totally agree. I thought Mariotta was going to be a hotter FA prospect— even more so than Trubisky.
  9. Agreed. I think the reason McKinnon is still floating around out there though is how injury prone he is. Chiefs don’t even want him back, and I thought he looked good the few games he played there.
  10. that is nuts. Kupp has really been around that long?
  11. you know Phillips will magically end up with 8 sacks. Guarantee it.
  12. That is what it seems like. Isn’t that unethical? I always thought if someone was represented by an agent, then the other side must go through the agent exclusively.
  13. ND is a real sleeper in this tournament.
  14. Not only that. Miller is going to cause Ed Oliver to get double digit sacks this year.
  15. I wish woods well, but unless the titans restructure, it’s a risky trade at his contract (due $10M this year). We all Sort of forget, but he has been in the league about 10 years. That said, if healthy and at the right price, he would be great in that titans offense.
  16. My buddy is a Steelers fan and is high on him. I guess Whaley has a talk radio show in Pittsburgh and it is really popular.
  17. gotta be a restructuring of some kind.
  18. Great move. Wonder if this means Barkley is out.
  19. LeBron approves. This guy is really something else.
  20. Cordarelle staying in Atlanta. Rats! https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33546212/source-cordarrelle-patterson-agrees-terms-staying-atlanta-falcons
  21. Agreed. That said, I don’t understand how people can compare Watson to roethlisberger at least based on what we know. Ben’s situation was like Kobe’s basically. Watson’s situation has some additional red flags of being a serial predator type of situation. It should be really alarming for any team to invest in Watson. Just a huge risk.
  22. I don’t understand how anyone could trade for CMC and restructure that contract enough to get under the cap. CMC would probably want more money too for a restructure.
  23. agreed. But to defend mayfield, those injuries really derailed him. Feel bad for him— he has been pretty harshly impacted by gutting through those injuries for his team. A lot of guys would have shut it down last year to preserve their bodies and contract value.
  24. Those two-way back roads in Texas are scary. I was surprised when I first drove down there. Lots of passing— people drive on the shoulder to let others pass them too, which is also dangerous. Everyone going over 70-80 mph. I can see one little mistake resulting in a fatal head-on collision.
  25. this is the greatest post.
