  1. “king of the hill” must have been a popular Rochester game. We played it there too all the time. When storms hit, the plows would plow a ton of snow into the middle of neighborhood cul-de-sacs, and that would be the mountain on which we fought for survival.
  2. that’s what I did during the start of the pandemic. Worked my way through them by each phase on Disney plus (having never seen any of them). i will say that I lost steam at guardians of the galaxy part 2, and haven’t tried to pick it back up again.
  3. This is a real lose-lose proposition for Browns fans. If the team is cleared of wrongdoing, it means they really were truly horrible at football.
  4. This report may be true. But we have similar reports like this for like 20 years. I am not going to believe it until Apple rolls it out officially. if Apple does get it, it will be nice to cut the cord with DTV. I have wanted to move To something else for years.
  5. I was just talking to my elementary school aged kids about this the other day. Recess is a huge part of their day, but I feel like we barely had recess as a kid. Maybe I just can’t remember it— but I have very few memories of recess in elementary school. Then, beyond that, I don’t remember anything. I think in high school, during lunch, i would play bball in the gym or kick the hackey sack.
  6. i think that is a fair take. My view of Sneed though is he has been average as a drafter. Outside of the 2017 draft, he has had way more misses than hits, especially with top 10 picks. I also don’t see his mid or late-round picks to be above league average. I also think he overpays like crazy on these trades. Jalen Ramsey for two 1st round picks and a 4th. And Stafford for two 1st round picks and a third. That is seriously a joke in terms of what they gave up for those two guys. He can point to his SB win as proof that it works, but you got to admit the Rams Got just about every lucky break in the playoffs in terms of their matchups. It is such a high risk strategy, and I don’t think it is a fair take for some to argue that an “all in” strategy is the right one. Snead and McVay will probably retire at the first sign of cratering, and that Rams team won’t be good for like 10 years.
  7. Any idea when the schedule will be out for training camp sessions in Rochester? I want to make it out this year.
  8. I love how les Snead is on there. If bojo doesn’t botch a punt in a blizzard, Green Bay is probably playing for a SB and Les is out of a job for mortgaging the future of that franchise.
  9. this is literally his career in a nutshell.
  10. well, then maybe a BB gun bullet.
  11. We dodged a bullet. I am a big Gilmore detractor. But even if you view him as an elite corner, the injury risk is too much given the salary guarantee. I think the last few years have shown that he may have jumped the shark from an injury standpoint.
  12. i can’t believe anyone can even debate whether Watkins is a bust or not. The market has spoken. in GB, he is being brought in to try to replicate the production of Valdes-Scandling— 25 catches; 400 yards. He is a low-end third option.
  13. i don’t know. If Mitch is even halfway decent over there, that Steelers team is also a super bowl contender. I can see why someone would weigh comparable offers, and pick Pittsburgh with that defense.
  14. I would buy me a $9M dome room and pop that sucker on right now.
  15. He is by far the greatest decoy in NFL history!
  16. dang, I forgot about those jump catches!! 😄
  17. from what I read, Kershaw wanted to come out after 7. That makes it even weirder, IMO. LeBron load management!
  18. Thanks for the encouragement! I am going to try to dive back into it!
  19. that is great. I hear you on the pics. I didn’t do that either. I went from 213 and at one point bottomed out to a lean 148. Took me about a year. I stayed at the 148-155 range steadily for about 3 years. I was on cruise control. When Covid hit, I got away from the app and from exercising and started eating poorly. So now I am at 175. All the excess sitting near my waist, of course! It is a lot tougher to get back the drive to use the app and get down to my ideal weight. I would actually like to only drop to like 165-168, but lose fat and build muscle.
  20. I did the same. It is amazing when you start to be calorie conscious. Like, that “healthy salad” is actually more calories than a burger and fries?! Or, is it really worth it to have a muffin that is equal to 700 calories. just makes you make better informed decisions. i used myfitness pal and was religious about it for about 2 years straight. Dropped 70 pounds. Covid derailed me and I got away from it and put on 20.
  21. same here. One and only time.
  22. This has a real klopfenstein vibe to it.
  23. I am sure it is all positive. But it is interesting to hear some of his detractors. I remember talking to one of the starters on those defenses back then and he said nobody liked Bruce (due to being a prima Donna and poor worker in practice, mostly).
