  1. yeah, that’s the last I could think of, and that was in 2010! Plus, that stadium is part of a complex, which has other indoor venues. A small market like Buffalo should be looking at the stadium for all the other events that they can host in it besides football— there has to be a lot more money to make with an indoor stadium venue.
  2. what new cold weather city stadiums don’t have a roof? It would be so behind the times and a huge waste of money for the city and state and taxpayers if it didn’t have a roof. Just go build the same stadium as in Minnesota or Indy.
  3. Agreed. It reminds me of this guy I used to know pre-BCS, who said the college football bowl and national championship voting was more exciting because of the “controversy.” i don’t want “excitement” from the unknowns of the weather. I want our games to be watchable and not have it handicap our entire team.
  4. The weather stress is killer. We have a pass heavy offense and we can’t ever use it. Josh’s best games are in perfect weather conditions.
  5. yeah, I think he was injured at some point. Rivera said after the game he had no idea about the issue.
  6. Hop will be looking at his third consecutive losing season here this year.
  7. i didn’t realize that they didnt have a kicker. I was puzzled why rivera was going for it. Watching on my phone with no sound.
  8. agreed! They can very easily sneak into the playoffs still. This is bizarre timing. BTW, I used to be a huge Kelly fan and Tony Pike fan when they were at a cincy— I was so sure Pike would be an NFL star!
  9. Given the defense we are going to see and the likely forecast, I think We are going to have to go all Tom Brady/Kevin Faulk on them, and dink and dunk them to death with Breida short passes and Beasley short option routes.
  10. agree with you completely. Stevenson looks like he will be a great KO returner. But I think you need that wiggle when you are returning punts, and I think McKenzie definitely has that. But McKenzie has other problems back there….
  11. cool. So yet another game rendered totally unwatchable by the weather. Going to be 9-6 score. And people like this?
  12. Great stuff again. The Stevenson muff in “honor” Of McKenzie— haha. That’s great! on that same note, Stevenson made me even more nervous than McKenzie— we need to go back to Isaiah asap.
  13. i don’t disagree with this. I actually think you see new HC’s now compensating for this a bit— like McVay basically being a glorified OC and handing over the defense to Wade Phillips when he was hired. i need to chew on this. It’s definitely an interesting take!
  14. wow— this is a very contrarian take and I have never heard anyone have this view. I think the more prevalent view is that BB is the genius And his coordinators are meh— evidenced by the fact that they have almost all uniformly failed when they left to try their hands at head coaching.
  15. haha— I love how his highlight video is of him basically tackling guys after they caught the ball.
  16. exactly right. I think a “smarter” Favre is a good comp. I actually think a young/in his prime Ben R. Is a really good comp too.
  17. What makes Brady the GOAT is he is a game manager, but knows exactly when to take his risks/shots and isn’t afraid to take them. Josh gets too greedy. But there are lots of all-time great QB’s who were the same.
