  1. Lack of energy is a good way to put it. I don’t quite get it. I think it could be also due to a lack of an identity. When you have an identity, you can lean into it. The Bills are still trying to figure out who they are.
  2. see what I mean? Going to be a tied game And the titans really haven’t done anything.
  3. The one thing I will say about the titans is that they are just plain gritty. I really have no idea how they win any football games, even when Henry was there. Just sort of collecting 4-yard runs, and a few playaction chunk plays, here and there. Nothing flashy on offense or defense, but seem to get it done every week. they always figure out a way to hang around in games. They will probably come back and make this a game.
  4. you are definitely not wrong. I heard a a NE beat guy this week talk about how BB will find your weak link and put his strongest guy out on it to fully exploit it.
  5. I hope so. I actually don’t think the patriots have anyone as good as Burns rushing from the edge. I know they think they do in Judon— but Burns is more of an elite edge rusher than Judon. So, hopefully Brown can hold up a little better.
  6. i would do that trade in a heartbeat! I love tamales. But I have never gotten up the courage to try to make them. It seems so challenging.
  7. Yum. I have really been into making dumplings this year (your ordinary Chinese pork ones), including ‘making my own dough. Have made some that have come out restaurant quality. I haven’t upped my game to your level though! i saw this movie in the theater years ago, and the audience was audibly groaning with hunger during the dinner scene.
  8. wow. This team has just been snake bit all year. Wouldn’t surprise me if Lamar even ends up with COVID for the 8th time.
  9. that is actually a better idea to swing Williams to LT. I just am unsure what the staff is thinking after Brown’s last game.
  10. nothing. It’s going to be too late now. i do wonder if the Bills might try something different this week— like leaving Spencer Brown at RT and using Doyle or Bates at LT.
  11. the only difference is last week, the pats were facing a QB who barely threw for 50 yards and nearly threw like 8 interceptions. I think they were basically stacking the box and playing the run given the sheer ineptitude of Wentz. That said, we aren’t talking about moss running wild. At least what I am hoping for is like 5-7 productive Carries out of the guy— which means maybe breaking off a few 5-yard runs and keeping the pats defense honest. Expectations are low.
  12. nothing. Very weird. You would think we would have heard something by now.
  13. I hear what you are saying, but I actually think the Pats are really prone to be run on. I can see Moss coming out of the dog house and being productive. Not going to go out and run the ball 30 times— but it wouldn’t surprise me if we gave these RB’s some Carries, especially if the pats run a lot of 2-high, as some of the experts are predicting.
  14. i think teams already knew he plays very aggressively and is prone to double moves. He hasn’t been burned yet, and the game where that was the most serious risk was the TB game. Maybe Mac gets him on one this week— but the fact that Dane gets so aggressive on the short routes that the patriots love to run makes me think there is an equally good chance Dane will make a big play this week.
  15. Agreed. he is more wrong than right. if people want the real deal, they should watch and listen to Cover One.
  16. I understand Herbert being the starter. i have said this before, but people love Herbert because he has such a silky smooth delivery.
  17. I am kind of upset about Bass not making it. It should have been between him and Folk this year.
  18. thats a good point. I guess in my mind I was hoping they would use that set from time to time to try to get more physical especially in short yardage situations.
  19. Re two-TE sets, I loved the heavy sets we ran last game. We brought in an extra lineman too, and it seemed like we had some solid runs out of it. Hope they do that some more this week.
  20. i won’t believe this until I see him running around. It looked like it affected him last game.
  21. thanks for the update! I have fond memories of the Mario’s on East Ave. went to church out near there as a kid, and we would often go there on Sundays afterwards.
  22. i grew up in Rochester but don’t remember this place. Is it new? I remember one of our favorite Italian places was Mario’s in Brighton. I just tried googling it, and it may have closed down?
