  1. he’s going to have to keep his throws inside 15 yards. also, I am less worried about him and more about the receivers catching balls. The ball is going to be moving.
  2. i actually own a t-shirt with this slogan on it and a bottle of caffeine pills.
  3. This is quite accurate. In fact, in the movie, he was watching the weather on TV and it was really gusty wind and snow.
  4. well, the gusts are expected to be even worse than what they are currently— like 10-15 MPH worse. So, yeah.
  5. We get Bill Vinovich this week. I believe his crew doesn’t call many penalties. It’s a good draw for us.
  6. my buddy who is a Broncos fan told me going into this season that this team Has a ceiling of the Tyrod Taylor Bills. I think he was right. They play great D. They have some talent on O. But they aren’t going anywhere with that QB play.
  7. If those gusts are as predicted, this game will be comical. I have seen some games like this— teams complete like 2-3 passes in a half, kickers missing FG’s by like 30 yards, punts going backwards, no one can shotgun snap. am just hoping the “gusts” are minimal, and the wind can stay below 20.
  8. They had to be “considering” cutting him daily since they signed him.
  9. This game is over. Thankfully I am starting Tee Higgins in fantasy— bengals going to be throwing a ton here.
  10. Riddick trying too hard is a great observation. That’s the vibe I get from him And the entire crew. Nothing is natural— way too forced.
  11. I am not sure what to call the new zone. It’s not really a 1-1-3, or 1-3-1. Its More like a 2-3 amoeba, with just a rotation to the high post. I like it so far— it stops us from getting killed in the high post.
  12. that crew is the absolute worst. I actually used to like each of them when they were separate— but together, they are just unwatchable. Griese is the worst of the bunch. His analysis is so bad, and often wrong. Also, all he ever talks about is “leverage”— count how many times he says it each week. It’s like 20-30 + times.
  13. good memory! I have reverted to my normal isolating superstitious viewing experience. you should see all the superstitions I have over wearing my Josh Allen jersey. At this point, I can’t even remember if it is better to wear it or not.
  14. i am flipping my phone upside down now to try to reverse this.
  15. Michigan is peaking at the right time. Just Played its most complete game. I am really curious to see how they will matchup with these SEC teams.
  16. not this week, unfortunately. They are going to have to run and get yards doing it.
  17. This is true. i never worried about Trent edwards being able to complete a 5-yard checkdown in the wind.
  18. there’s no reason why our staff can’t outcoach a well-coached team. McD and co. have done so before (chiefs this year, Ravens last year, and really the Pats last year too). The key to me is the players— can Bass make a FG in these conditions? Can Haack not get a punt blocked? Can McKenzie cleanly field kicks and not fumble? Can Josh and the backs not fumble? Can knox and Davis and the other receivers not drop balls? Can Dawkins rebound? That’s just on the players. They have to play better than the patriots.
  19. i hear you. The weather stinks. But you can only control what you can control. And there’s no reason that we, as fans, should be despondent, and that our talented team can’t overcome it. it’s on the players and coaches to adjust and execute in light of the weather. This game will come down to who coaches better and who executes on the small stuff better (penalties, drops, ST plays and mistakes, turnovers, etc).
  20. i agree. I actually wonder if altering the game plan to short stuff is going to help Josh take the easy stuff and play within himself.
  21. this is a joke. I would guess that this could be record winds for a game. 50 MPH?! if you want to see what this game will look like, check out this windy bears game. Can’t snap the ball; can’t hold the ball on FG’s; FG’s going 50 yards wide; 5 muffed punts; 2 completed passes in the first half.
