  1. “Everyone eats” is also about salary allocation. They can’t pay a superstar free agent WR at the current WR rate. Our best hope is to hit a home run in the draft at WR— which we could have done had we drafted McConkey instead of Coleman (but that’s another debate).
  2. except on jet sweeps. That’s Knox’s bread and butter.
  3. I am with you. I guess it’s a game football, but that doesn’t strike me as that big of a deal. In fact, in a weird way, I feel like catching a home run at a MLB game would be better.
  4. Nah. We got our guy today already: Spector.
  5. Flacco with those receivers actually might work.
  6. now go get me AJ Klein, McBeane!
  7. haha. What a vicious cycle. I have basically done some kind of boomerang reverse jinx. Unreal.
  8. Yet another thinly disguised “sign John Brown” thread!!
  9. This is a fun year, with some upstart teams making runs in the AFC and the powerhouses struggling. That said, we all know the ravens and chiefs will figure out a way to barely sneak into the playoffs, get healthy, and then be impossible to knock off.
  10. The only positive from this loss is that I was sure that if I wore no Bills gear whatsoever that they would win every game for the rest of my life. It was a foolproof recipe for success. Now that they lost, I guess I will go back to wearing my Bills stuff.
  11. I do not mean to steal @Just Jack ‘s thunder, but someone needed to start this thread. Who caused us to lose? One of the posters on here who started a jinx thread? Someone who changed their game day routine? Time to fess up. Let’s hear it.
  12. the game plan should have been passes to the TEs and backs all night. Kincaid legitimately could have caught 20 passes. what’s frustrating is that everyone knew this coming into this game.
  13. Special Teams were outstanding against one of the best ST units in the league. Franklin clotheslined their stud punt returner, and cam Lewis violently took out Gibson and caused a fumble. New punter looked solid too. Prater made his kicks.
  14. it was so minor though. I have no idea how the line judge even saw it.
  15. I actually have never seen a crew nit pick the oline like that ever. The interior holding calls were not holds. None of them. Even the illegal procedure and false starts were not good calls. they called the pats for that one false start on 3rd and inches, and their lineman didn’t even move. It was like he was taking a breath and they called it.
  16. i could be wrong, but if he didn’t bail, he can get Shakir on that crosser in space. I like his chances of RAC for a first down. Oh, well.
  17. I think the pats are solid and I like Maye. that said, I actually came away a little less impressed with the Pats. I thought Maye looked better last year in the pocket when we played them.
  18. cool screen shots. And you are the one who wants to argue. I told you I didn’t want to engage you. I went back and looked and I disagree with you.
  19. What happened to him? Was it a re-aggravation of the pec?
  20. so I did go back and watch: 1) 2nd and 10: had cook right in front of him (maybe only a short gain, but depends on the leverage), but had Palmer for an easy out for like 7-8 yards. 2) 3rd and 10: two crossers, both open, especially Shakir on the left. Allen bailed way too early. Allen is great. But he played off script tonight. Sometimes that is great, but he came out on the short end tonight doing that.
  21. i would go Back and watch to argue with you, but I can’t put myself through that again.
