yeah, today for some reason I thought guys were slipping a lot. Off the top of my head, I remember both Palmer and Samuel slipping on routes, bishop slipping in coverage, the saints TE awkwardly slipping out of bounds, and even the Tre 4th down tackle on Kamara seemed To be kamara slipping. just seemed really unusual for such a nice day.

BTW, it seems like our field at Highmark is terrible. guys are always slipping. Today it seemed really bad. Did anyone else notice this?

exactly. I honestly think our D would be more effective with shaq and Dorian out there. Two guys running downhill and blowing people up.

Our D lacks physicality. We need more thumpers out there.

Agreed. There are a lot of defensive gurus that need a very specific personnel to have success. I think he fits that Bill. Same probably with McD.

chiefs just have way more difference makers on D than us. Not sure what spags could whip up with our current roster.

Agreed. back several years ago when the colts had eberflus as their DC and Rivers as their QB (kind of the 2020-2021 seasons), they were frightening. I feel like they still have that same core, including core guys on their D, oline, and of course Taylor. They just needed a competent QB again, which they now have in Jones. (I still don’t get why there wasn’t a bigger free agent market for Jones. Steelers and Browns didn’t even look at him?).

Sort of funny how: like the Bills love their undersized LBs, the chiefs love their undersized speedster receivers. They have about 5 guys that look identical.

I have sort of come around on Lamar. i actually think he holds the ball a long time because he can get away with it. I actually think he could be a quick release passer if they wanted him to be one.

I actually thought the D settled down nicely after a rough start. If the O had continued some ball control And running in that second quarter, this would have been a blowout. i think Brady and Josh were just antsy, trying too early for that knock-out punch.

We ran that Shakir play earlier in the season. You can’t run that in short yardage because everyone is jamming the LOS.

I am actually blaming the offense here more than the D. Just dumb play calling and bad execution. We can get 5 yards on runs and dump offs any time we want.
