    if you want to go way back, the Bills used to do this against Tony Gonzalez. They would cover him with Antoine Winfield. Elam would be good on Kelce— you need a grabby, physical corner to a TE.

    Don’t hold your breath. The bills— for reasons that remain unknown to me—never jam Kelce. they always seem to give him a free release. I always point to a saints/chiefs game from a few years ago, where the saints put a DE wide and jammed the heck out of kelce all game, and it worked brilliantly.

    I can’t believe the OC in DC is Norv Turner’s son. The nepotism in the NFL is absurd. You get rid of that, and you probably don’t have a minority coaching problem.

    i had high hopes for him when Washington signed him. Then, he was a great low round flyer this year after all the injuries last year. Just a disappointment— should be putting up Deebo-type numbers, but apparently he can’t catch a football.

    If you noticed there, the bears got no push up front. The o-linemen pushed fields from behind. I have seen a few teams do this, where they basically have a lineman line right up behind the QB on the sneak, and just shove the QB in the back, pushing him for the sneak. Something we might want to consider.

    Amazingly, I started Fields at QB in a fantasy league this year. He netted me exactly 1 point that week. Yeah, I am in last place.

    That smith pick was dumb luck. Edit: I thought I recalled Smith fell down, but he didn’t. The reality is Smith got toasted bad by Stevie. He was so out of position. It was a terrible play by smith, but he was rewarded for just being in the right place at the right time. Tough break for Tuel, who had an okay game.

    I really don’t want them to overthink this one, especially with a bunch of cat and mouse pre-snap stuff. I feel like that is what burned us two years ago. Just go out and play our game.
