These back to back Thursday night games with the holiday and time off of work have me so messed up. Crazy to think the game is on in two days?!

Now how was that last play NOT PI? I just don’t get how these refs calls PI all night. There is a newish rule where you dive forward as the QB, you are down where you first hit with the ball.

Wallace was going up for and made a great play on the ball. That contact seemed incidental—didn’t go through him. All I know is that our receivers get that contact all the time, and it is never called!!

That is pass interference?!

One might think the colts would hand the ball off to their best player. Instead they go with check down Charlie for three brutal pass plays?

of course. I have resisted Amazon music unlimited for years. Now they put on the clamps. Just ridiculous. I really don’t use Alexa for anything other than music (and the weather).

How in the world did Matt Ryan regress like he has? He is also playing behind an elite oline and with arguably the best RB in the league.

just be thankful that the chiefs didn’t move up a little to land him— two picks later and they took Skye Moore.

ha! I don’t know if Hines is the answer, but would love to actually see him catch a few of those check downs so we can see! I have posted this a few times recently. But when was the last time you actually saw a successful RB screen from this team? It’s like Chan Gailey era! what is nuts about it is is that we supposedly have these quick athletic linemen who can get out in space— yet they can’t set up to run a screen?

totally agree. I think this is some new Alexa feature and it is the worst. Best part of Alexa before was ordering her to play specific songs and albums.

this was bad. But the screen to Cook earlier was also a total dumpster fire (mostly due to terrible oline play). going to beat a dead horse, but Hines on those check-downs sure might be smoother.

Absolutely allowed. Good idea. I keep re-living that play in my mind. Wish we had been aggressive, spread them out, and threw it out of the endzone.

oh, trust me, I am a pro at the avoid media and DVR the game. Story of my life. The trouble here though with a party is controlling the flow of information and an inadvertent slip up. The bigger issue for me is going to be the bills/bears Christmas Eve game. I have no idea how I will pull that one off, with the family obligations and the late night. I probably couldn’t even watch it until 11 PM even if I successfully avoided media. My best shot is having my wife drive to my in-laws and leave at 1-ish (driving about 2 hours), while I watch on the phone, and then try to sneak in the rest on the down low when I get there.

agreed. I am not apologizing if I am the dolphins. They are coming out and taking care of business against these lesser teams. Also, the Lions and Bears (with Fields) are better teams than their records reflect.

I am puzzled how easily he has been getting beat to the outside. I would love to hear from the offensive line experts here. Is it technique? Or just can’t bend/ lacks quick feet? You would think his long arms and frame would help him, but I guess not.

Good point. I also don’t think teams are going to block a guy like Hughes.

Cold schmold. It’s all about the wind! Our stadium has to be the absolute worst for wind. I follow the weather for these games pretty religiously, and I have not seen the types of wind gust speed anywhere else, even Cleveland, which one would think would be comparable. my hope with the new stadium is they figure out a way to neutralize the high winds.

Not sure there is more to say than that. While I think some of those charge calls on the Mintz floaters were totally bush league (ball fully released like a foot before contact), obviously Mintz can’t be going around slapping people. if there is a positive, it’s that Taylor had a great game.

I need this game flexed in the worst way— holiday party starting at 4 PM on 12/18!
