  1. Brady is going to just be throwing 4-yard passes on crossers and dump downs and screens. Nothing deep. If the eagles can’t stop this, they have no defense.
  2. let me just describe the play. A 300-pound defensive player is going full speed at The QB, and then is shoved in the back by two guys into the QB’s upper thigh. At which point, the defensive player stops his momentum, grabs the QB to ease him from taking a hard fall, and then helps him up off the turf. That was a personal foul.
  3. this is where I am at. Just gonna relax and let the chips fall.
  4. Not a pats media guy, but I would be curious to hear Kurt Warner’s take on Josh. He had been super down on him, including leading into this game. “Won’t or can’t take the layups, etc.”
  5. Agreed. i know Mills was out for them, but that team can’t play man against us even with him and win. Diggs can win against Jackson every time. But he doesn’t need to. Josh just spotted the weakness yesterday and spread it out. Unless the pats have like 5 great cover corners, they will never be able to play man against us and win.
  6. I love reading these articles from the pats writers about how this defense needs a total overhaul. This was the number 2 defense!!
  7. Texting with a bunch of non-Bills fans, and they are as amped as we are. There is this feeling that the bills slayed the wicked witch. The pats have burned a lot of teams over the last 20 years.
  8. This is awesome. This revenge game meant so much to many of the former Bills coaches and players who have had to endure the Pats for decades.
  9. Re Fitz with no shirt on, this could be the best thing I have seen from that game.
  10. This jumbo package is a revelation. Has solved our short yardage woes. Any time we need a yard, we can get it now.
  11. Fascinating breakdown— very different. i will say that I think they mastered how to use both Beasley and McKenzie now. Both guys contributed extremely well.
  12. Agreed re that Hyde interception. Re the McKenzie fumble, the CBS broadcast was hopeless. They didn’t tell us anything about that or many other plays. Very few replays. A few times they were late even telling us about a penalty.
  13. Amazingly, it was a throwaway, per Josh. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/01/16/josh-allen-first-td-pass-was-a-throwaway-i-had-no-idea-dawson-knox-caught-it/
  14. I have never seen anything like it, but I believe the Bills got every single “break” last night. It really felt like a curse was broken. Consider just these plays: 1) Allen tries to throw the ball away, yet amazingly Knox catches it for a TD (an extraordinarily difficult catch too). 2) McKenzie apparently fumbled the opening kickoff, but it went harmlessly out of bounds. 3) Milano tips a ball, and Wallace makes a diving interception off of it. 4) punt hits Neal in the foot, and Hyde was able to not only recover it, but then run it back 50 yards. 5) Doinked in PAT by Bass. 6) several wide open patriots just dropped balls. We played a great game in every way. But it was nice to get those good luck bounces for once.
  15. I present to you— the greatest thing I have ever seen. Bill Bellicheck’s post game presser:
  16. Serious question: did that game wrecker Matt Judon play today? (okay— not a serious question).
  17. that has been a revelation. We have been so much better on short yardage situations with that package.
  18. the announcers were passable. The production was dreadful. Just lots of dead space, very few replays, and very little explanation. I think they phoned it in at halftime.
  19. oh yeah— what happened on eve blocked PAT? Don’t think they showed a good replay of that either.
  20. just to give you an example. They had that super long replay review on the first Singletary TD. They never showed the replay the entire time. It was only until after the play was confirmed and after the PAT that they got around to showing a replay. Just amateur hour over at CBS.
  21. i thought the entire CBS broadcast was pitiful. Very few replays all night.
  22. Quick question. I had the sound off for the Hyde PR, so I may have missed the announcers saying this. But on that PR, did the ball hit the gunner’s leg? It looked like it to me.
