  1. He is by far the greatest decoy in NFL history!
  2. dang, I forgot about those jump catches!! 😄
  3. from what I read, Kershaw wanted to come out after 7. That makes it even weirder, IMO. LeBron load management!
  4. Thanks for the encouragement! I am going to try to dive back into it!
  5. that is great. I hear you on the pics. I didn’t do that either. I went from 213 and at one point bottomed out to a lean 148. Took me about a year. I stayed at the 148-155 range steadily for about 3 years. I was on cruise control. When Covid hit, I got away from the app and from exercising and started eating poorly. So now I am at 175. All the excess sitting near my waist, of course! It is a lot tougher to get back the drive to use the app and get down to my ideal weight. I would actually like to only drop to like 165-168, but lose fat and build muscle.
  6. I did the same. It is amazing when you start to be calorie conscious. Like, that “healthy salad” is actually more calories than a burger and fries?! Or, is it really worth it to have a muffin that is equal to 700 calories. just makes you make better informed decisions. i used myfitness pal and was religious about it for about 2 years straight. Dropped 70 pounds. Covid derailed me and I got away from it and put on 20.
  7. This has a real klopfenstein vibe to it.
  8. I am sure it is all positive. But it is interesting to hear some of his detractors. I remember talking to one of the starters on those defenses back then and he said nobody liked Bruce (due to being a prima Donna and poor worker in practice, mostly).
  9. Critical information missing. Are there dividers? If no dividers, you say nothing and make no furtive movements.
  10. I would be curious to hear the context of this— because if he said this, as reported, it is truly horrible. edit: so Brandt apparently is 90 years old and sounded half senile. Not sure he knows what he is saying generally anymore.
  11. thanks. Yeah, seeing now that he ran out of gas? so dangerous to get out of your car on a major road.
  12. just drawing some inferences here, but maybe he was out on an early morning run. Wonder if the sun was an issue with the sight lines for the driver? That said, there are way too many dump truck accidents. Dangerous vehicle and bad drivers. My cousin was in a bad wreck in Florida last month, where the dump truck struck a bunch of cars (driver of the truck died).
  13. The wind conditions out there today are laughable. Reminds me of a Bills home game!
  14. I hear you. I can forgive Holloway because the timing and job were too perfect to pass up. This is not only his dream job, but he had major success and his mentor was leaving SHU right now. As to the players, I totally agree. This is the new reality of college bball. It’s going to be like AAU. And guys hopping around from team to team— I don’t think it will help their development. There is a lot to be gained by going to play under a great coach, and getting coached up and developed over time.
  15. Reading through this, I really need to get back into shape! i put on my 20 pounds during Covid and have been so lazy in dropping it. Exercising a lot (mostly basketball and yoga), but not eating right still.
  16. Oooh— I would be mad if I were a Bears’ fan!!!!
  17. you paint a great picture for those of us who have never been!
  18. It is really unreal what Tiger is doing. He hasn’t played a round of professional golf in like over a year. He is heading into 17 now at -1 under par. Not playing his best, but wow.
  19. Tiger is looking just steady and solid. by the way, I love these golf color commentators. Such a deep knowledge of the game, players, shots, and course. Puts the NFL color commentators to shame.
  20. i have just your normal recumbent exercise bike, and I think it does the trick. if you are really out of shape, that may be more realistic to ease into than doing a bunch of spinning classes on a peleton.
