  1. That’s the problem when you get a RT to play LT. That said, I bet the chiefs pay him pretty close to this— you don’t make that trade and then not re-sign him.
  2. Ended up logging back in and made it to my turn…. Sold out!
  3. I am not even moving down from my 10,300 number.
  4. There are 10,300 people in front of me. Forget it. if anyone has 5 for the 30th, please PM me. Thanks!
  5. I wonder what is hurting the NFL’s case is that they don’t have access to the victims to testify in the disciplinary hearing.
  6. I am just a huge Rafa fan. Love his game, how he plays, the respect for his opponents. I know you are a Federer fan. I always liked him too. And I don’t mind Joker. But from a style perspective, just have always enjoyed Rafa more.
  7. Just stinks that Rafa had to pull out. I think he would have won the whole thing.
  8. I respect that. But I am in the other camp. I actually go further— Barry Sanders was the best professional athlete I have ever seen play. Just mind-blowing talent.
  9. Bell is going to just dance around the whole time.
  10. Interesting. I thought Bonilla was unique. by the way, back when I was a die hard Mets fan, I used to love Brett Saberhagan! I loved those early 90s Mets teams (Olerud, Hundley, Gilkey, Fonzie, Ordonez, etc.).
  11. i actually think the NFL will come down hard for no other reason than because of the owners’ irritation over the browns blowing up the market with Watson’s fully guaranteed deal.
  12. I never really got into Curb Your Enthusiasm. But I was on a long flight today and watched a handful of episodes. I was actually laughing so hard at one point in time that I cried. it was this scene where Larry keeps seeing his chiropractor’s nasty frayed underwear, and he tries to give him advice about wearing better underwear so he isn’t scaring his patients away. Absolutely hilarious stuff.
  13. The Seinfeld last episode was always going to be too tough to really nail, just based on the nature of the show. I think it was a decent way to end the show, by bringing back some of the side characters throughout the years.
  14. weirdly enough, this was the first game I thought of too. That Royal misstep infuriates me to this day, and pretty much summed up his career with the Bills in that one play. I think that game sticks with us because as I recall, if we won that game, we had a legit shot at making the playoffs, and by losing, we were eliminated.
  15. I didn’t watch a lot of “king of queens,” but I have watched a few. And this hare-brained rental home scheme is the same one Doug pulled off on that show. he and his pals rented an apartment above a restaurant to get away from their wives, and Doug ended up living a secret second life for a while— a very hilarious and memorable episode!
  16. My prediction is 1-year suspension reduced to like 12 games. Browns may actually come out of this okay.
  17. 1) Re flopping, it is getting so absurd. Guys are running about 20 feet away from the action and will just stop, so the other guy can plow them over And they can get an offensive foul. Or guys setting a screen will just flail and fall to the ground. There is always a mess of bodies all over the court. These players and refs should be embarrassed. It is not normal basketball. It reminds me of how Harden’s leg-kick 3’s became a thing. Totally unnatural basketball move. 2) Don’t get me wrong about Tatum. He does a lot well— just a gorgeous shooting stroke and very good and smooth finisher. Maybe if he has a really good 1B super star scorer next to him, he wouldn’t press so much. But I noticed this even in the earlier rounds— when they are down a little and it is late in the game, his decision making goes in the toilet; tries to do too much. 3) udoka did a heck of a job. I thought prior to this series that they would be lucky to win 1 game. They could have easily won this series, if things broke a little differently in game 5.
  18. Just those close-up shots of the Celtics fans yesterday…. What an obnoxious and gross fan base. Glad they lost. Re the series as a whole, loved seeing Steph and I love his game. But I thought both teams were just flopping way too much constantly, and the refs conversely would let a lot of physical action go. I also don’t understand how anyone could like Tatum. The guy just presses way too much at the worst times, and causes the offense to go Into the toilet. Maybe he will get better with more experience. But for all his talent, he is also very self-destructive on the offensive side.
  19. haha— I still love RJ! At one time, I owned an RJ jersey and three RJ shirts. I actually still might have all that stuff in the attic.
  20. whoops— sorry, spelling police! “Pylon.”
  21. That one highlight of RJ diving for the pile-on brings back some good memories. That was a huge road win at KC. And that was such a tough and gutsy play. It really felt that RJ’s and the Bills’ fortunes were going to change with that win. (And then they dropped like 4 in a row and missed the playoffs).
  22. Tua best against “goal line” coverage?! 🤣 that’s because it doesn’t require any passes further than 2 yards!
