I think it is just “the market” that was terrible. Lot of RBs on these peanut deals.

He was actually one of the most productive receivers for the dolphins down the stretch. I love it.

I am guessing they price Sunday ticket just high enough for non-YouTube subscribers that most people will end up switching to YouTube.

I agree. The only upside is that the streaming market is more competitive than the cable market, so one would hope that keeps costs down. But even then, it is no coincidence that Hulu and YouTube both charge a monthly fee within a few dollars of each other.

Sadly, I am a gen Xer, and am shouting at the TV, “where the heck is Tru TV?” 😁 you may want to call DTV loyalty before you cancel. I almost “for real” canceled during Covid, and got some ridiculous deal for a year— $50/month (after fees and taxes), for about a year. (This time when I canceled, though, the best they could get me to was $90ish per month— well above YouTube or Hulu).

Today is my first day on YouTube TV. Bit of a pain to figure out how to navigate through the channels. I assume it will just take some getting used to.

Agreed. I think it is clear that whether you are an elite LT or a pretty competent one, you are getting paid a lot.

Fun tournament so far. FDU win and TCU comeback win were both great. That said, there have been some brutally bad games too. I think the Pitt/Iowa State could have been the worst game I have ever seen. Iowa State had like 2 field goals in the second. I have never seen such a horrible shooting team.

If that is what the team wants, you can get a short yardage guy who can plow through for 1 yard in the 7th round of the draft.

whoa— I had no idea. Amazing how the pats signed the two biggest named TEs on the free agent market a few years ago in Smith and Henry, and they had been underwhelming.

You know who was one great big-body RB? Antonio Williams!!!

$5.5m per year?! Consider that Raheem Mostert got a 2 year deal for that amount of money with like $2 mill guaranteed. Yeah, he has an injury track record and is 31, but he also had a great season last year. This RB market is depressed.

the problem isn’t even him on the roster. It’s that he takes up a gameday spot and isn’t even all that good as a ST gunner anymore.

Ugh. Quit wasting money on these running backs. Let’s roll with Cook, Hines, and a late-round draft pick. Maybe even sign Devin back to a 1-year deal.

Agreed. I thought they outsmarted themselves. Smart move would have been to keep LaFleur and sign Garapolo. plus, they have killed it in the draft recently— why give up those picks?

Have a few buddies who are Steelers fans and they think he is an all-world bust, and have negative things to say about him all the time.

I remember getting for Christmas in 1988 an original Sega (not Sega Genesis, but Sega). It was life changing! But it also set me more on the Sega path than Nintendo. Then, when PlayStation came out, it was more PlayStation in college. So never got into Nintendo, except playing it here and there (hated that 64 controller too). I did get a Nintendo switch for my kids a year ago, and it is nice— though even they tend to play more stuff on apps than on that.

How many tight ends does that team need?! Geez.
