  1. my concern with getting an inflatable was getting a hole in it, and then you are into patching, and that seems to never work. Have you had to patch yours? i got a light weight soft top board (like kick board material) that probably weighs around 30 pounds. So light enough to carry around. I love it, but it is getting old and it was expensive ($800). So not sure if I should spring for the inflatable for my next one.
  2. Big fan. I have done it for about 10 years, on lakes. Tried it a few times on an ocean, and was a little Too choppy and windy for me. I like it way more than kayaking, which I find to be uncomfortable. Plus, really works your core and is good exercise. Nowadays, you can get lots of affordable SUPs, including inflatable ones and the cheaper hard ones (like Pelican). I splurged on this really sweet foam top one from a company called Isle. It was pricey, but I love it. Fast, light, stable, and durable. And it has lasted me 10 years and still going.
  3. Marcellus Wiley truly was a legend here in the 19 games he started for the Bills.
  4. There is no price I wouldn’t pay for Sunday ticket. I did the stress of sports bars for years about 15+ years ago, and I am not going back.
  5. The idea of VIP and corporate getting priority over regular fans at training camp is absurd. I can’t even imagine the team making that much money off of it— it can’t be anywhere near the revenue of the luxury boxes at the games.
  6. I think that is part of it. But I think the other issues are: (1) we don’t have nearly as many TC Public practices as many other teams (10 Rochester Public ones compared to like 16+ for other teams); and (2) I haven’t been to the recent iteration of TC, but it seems like with all the fan experience stuff, the capacity seems much smaller. I also wish they did what a lot of other teams do, which is have special practices with the extra bells and whistles just for Season ticket holders, and then let the rest of the masses go to the remainder of the practices. I think the bengals and chiefs both do this.
  7. Now, that is a great sports story!!
  8. you asked the very question I was about to!
  9. Diggs suffers from the wide receiver diva disease that plagues every star WR. let’s see what happens when we have a down game or two during the season.
  10. thanks. this is so frustrating. Most teams have their camps at sleepy small colleges (similar to fredonia), and there are no issues showing up And watching. I have been to camps like that for the Colts and Steelers. Not sure why this has to be such a production.
  11. thanks! I think i am going to try this. Maybe if I bum around too, I can stumble upon some tickets.
  12. Scored 30 points in my over-40 basketball rec league last season. Have had a few 25+ point games like that. That’s right— finally hitting my prime in my 40s!! (Or maybe everyone else is just in worse shape?).
  13. Congrats! For me, home ownership was about one thing and one thing alone: the ability to put up a DIRECTV dish to buy Sunday Ticket! (Now that DIRECTV has lost Ticket, maybe I should sell my house and just rent!)
  14. He was a draft favorite for Bills’ fans! Sad to see him pass at such a young age.
  15. 700?! oh wow— they must have grown. I probably had like 400 in my class. You go to HS in Rochester too?
  16. that was at fairport high school— probably around 1987. I think they went to other high schools too— must have been some promotional thing.
  17. I remember when I was a kid, the Bills would hold free training camp practices at various high schools. They practiced on my high school field in Rochester and it was such a memorable experience. Went around getting all those great 80s/90s player autographs.
  18. Ugh. Not even close to getting any. I am looking for 5 to July 27. Will also pay money. Had to disappoint my kids last year by not going. Wanted to make the trip to Rochester (where I grew up) to show them around this year.
  19. Leave some for us non-ST holders! I think our clock starts at 1 pm!
  20. I am in the same boat as the OP. Told my kids we would go last year, but couldn’t get tickets. I am sure the the website is going to crash too again tomorrow, so it’s pointless trying to reserve them online.
  21. Smoked some ribs and chicken thighs in my kamado joe Jr. (Red egg). Came out very tender, but the char was a little harsh on some of the ribs. I think I need to lower my temp and also spritz more. Had them at around 275.
  22. haha— before he moved to Reseda! BTW, I still haven’t finished season 3 of Cobra Kai!
  23. Don’t worry; New Jersey is also beautiful in the summer, said no one ever. 😁
  24. I mean, look at guys like Cowher and Andy Reid too. Those guys were awful in playoff games for years. Reid was probably one of the worst game-day coaches I had seen At one point in time. Haven’t the Steelers pretty much given us all the blue print on success? Establishing a culture, Continuity of success, and building and promoting from within.
  25. just consider the risk in what you guys are saying. We have a combo that has turned this franchise around and now has us in contention every year. Free agents want to come here, and we are re-signing our own guys. Not only that, they have already spawned their own successful GM and coaching tree. And instead you would prefer to roll the dice to get probably some unknown commodities at GM and HC, and head back onto the carousel of doom we experienced for like 25 years. people’s expectations are so skewed. All you can do is build a team into one that can make the playoffs and be in contention to win. When you get there, it is a total crap shoot and all about matchups, player execution, and good health as to which teams ultimately win the SB.
