Houston doing okay, but the “play not to lose” strategy will catch up to them by the end of the 3rd qtr. -

I missed what happened at the beginning. Was it a long kickoff return? And what was with the pushing of the coach? -

In a weird way, this game is nerve wracking. If the chiefs lose, it’s almost like tomorrow’s game is our real chance for the SB, just making the stakes feel much higher. -
of course, the guy named “Casey at Bat” is overconfident!

Brady just interviewed with the Bears
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Dubie54's topic in The Stadium Wall
agree, but I would not hate the player; would hate the game. The NFL needs to change the rules on this, and have a period after the season for interviews to happen. You would think it would be mutually beneficial for really all the teams in the league. Even the bad teams who want to get a jump on a new coach— those teams will probably end up being good at some point too, and will want the same system. -
both fan bases have to to be dreading this game!!

he is the heir of the TJ Maxx family dynasty.

Anderson is the type of player where even if you amputated his arm, he would be out there playing. hoping Davis can clear by tomorrow!!!
-
good point. You made me feel better!

I actually don’t think that is wrong. Bills D really struggles when they get behind. If we get a lead, it really helps our D, as it turns the other team a bit more one dimensional.
-
I bet they keep him questionable. I doubt he would even play next week if they win this game. That is like a 4-week injury.
-
classic wife response! I have heard that one too.
-
I bet the team made him say that! He was giving Kincaid the side eye during Mr B last game.
-
after they win, the headline will read: “Bills beat Ravens, but can they finally get by the chiefs in the playoffs? Unlikely.”
-
Thanks for clarifying. I was rushing through it, and was going to go back to listen to it fully later. We have to play heavy when they go heavy. The killer there though is Andrews and likely. Much like we kill teams throwing out of the 6-lineman grouping!

Any Ray Davis injury (concussion) updates?
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
more like, “we know it is an injury to the body. It may be lower, mid, or upper. It is either day to day, or week to week.” -
Interesting breakdown by Steelers’ film guy, and a very cautionary tale for us. Listen around 9 minute mark. Two takeaways: 1) Ravens were basically in 11 personnel with an extra offensive lineman (plus Ricard) for a ton of the game. 2) Steelers played nickel a ton out of those sets, and were gashed for over 9 yards per play. (When Steelers went heavy, they stopped them).

Agreed. We are also at the point in the season where all of the teams left are legit contenders. the paper tiger debates and “who did they play” debates are more for when you are talking about pretenders sneaking into the playoffs, like the Dolphins.

I had heard verse was a beast and this defense was really good. Sort of wonder if we are just so much better or if they just had a bad day against us.
-
exactly! I saw him flick his wrist!
-
they ought to call that IG too! if a defense blows up a screen, the QB should be required to eat it. I don’t know whoever came up with the idea of allowing the QB to dirt the ball in the pocket. It Penalizes a good defensive play.
-
yeah, but do you also sniffle in a condescending tone?

I think I dislike him now more as an announcer than I did when he was a player.
