  1. I was mostly just serving as a maintenance man and minding my own business. This was in California, in Reseda, at South Spas, if anyone knows the area. But this new kid from New Jersey lived in the building and started getting bullied. Long story short, after a Halloween incident, I decided to help him out by starting my own dojo and training him in the karate taught by my father (and his father before him). Hence the screen name.
  2. i can still picture Coy, sprinting through creeks and leaping over logs in the woods barefoot!
  3. On a separate note, I can’t believe Coy Wire is still bopping around. I haven’t heard that name in ages!
  4. i hope! I have had him sitting on my bench on both of my fantasy teams all year.
  5. I actually don’t think that was a lot for San Fran to give up. Maybe that’s because I was expecting someone might give up a first rounder.
  6. At least there was some scoring tonight. But not very pretty football.
  7. Kelsay will always have a special spot in my heart. I had a former co-worker who is college buddies with him and told me when Kelsay re-signed with the Bills before it became public news. In my first and only “scoop,” I broke the news on this message board before it hit the media (much to everyone’s dismay).
  8. I love all the up-thread comments about trading Moss and a pick for CMC. Moss? Haha. Might as well throw in there the rights to EJ Manuel too.
  9. What’s the bigger news here is that in the articles I have read about Moore’s low target %, Gabe Davis has a pretty comparable %. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34839826/frustrated-jets-wr-elijah-moore-excused-practice
  10. You may be right, but I don’t think they need him. They can get the same back for their buck out of McKinnon. I don’t know why they don’t get him more touches.
  11. So you can Block A guy into the fair catcher?
  12. I can’t even have this debate anymore. As much as I want a closed-roof stadium, we aren’t getting one. The best to hope for is one that really blocks the wind. Winds over 20 MPH on the field Neutralize our home field advantage. well, if the Bills built a dome, they could actually host a SB. Detroit hosts all the time.
  13. My small children are spoiled by these Bills. If they only knew what we had endured for the last 20+ years.
  14. good points all around. On the release, I have seen video of teams using a DE to jam kelce. But there are obvious negatives to that too. kelce is an interesting TE. He is just really big with good hands. Not as athletic as guys like Gronk (in prime). Most of the time, he just goes out 8 yards, turns around, bodies out the defender, catches the ball, and then falls forward an extra 5-7 yards.
  15. A couple of quick observations: 1) loved the new wrinkle with the QB sneak. I have noticed that a lot of teams do this, with a big FB standing behind the QB, pushing him on the QB sneak. It worked both times today with Davis doing the pushing. 2) the bills did a nice job with a lot of pin and pull stuff today in the run game, and got away from the read option stuff, which has been dreadful. One negative play call though was that 3rd and inches late, and they ran a QB draw or read option of some kind to Singletary that lost 3 yards. I actually thought that was the game. Just sneak it there. Had two chances to get 6 inches! 3) I remain puzzled at the free releases that they give Kelce, and I read somewhere that the bills sort of “gave” Kelce the stuff underneath in exchange for using Milano as a spy. Not sure how accurate that is, but kind of interesting. 4) The defense with such an inspired effort and gameplan, esp in the second half. They shut down the run. They basically gave up nothing over the top. And the first Juju TD was just a total fluke play— not something I would hold against them.
  16. Ref John Hussey out there is just dying for someone to touch him. He just has that “I’m looking to eject someone look.”
  17. i loved the 3rd and 4 play when they just handed it off and he got 5 yards. That is just cockiness. Love their head coach too— obviously brought all that gap and duo blocking from the colts.
  18. he is a beast. I am terrified watching him play. So glad he is in the NFC now.
  19. On a related topic, how was the fumble by Lil D attributed to Allen? Isn’t it just like if Allen had pitched the ball back to a RB on a sweep who drops and ball? That one wouldn’t be on the QB, would it?
  20. Oh well. I think that could be the game. Too much to ask this defense to hold them again.
  21. I have to think Dorsey is kicking himself for that 3rd and inches…. And doing a shotgun draw!!! We should be up now!
