it was a terrible series. The Celtics are solid, but a super boring team. And the Mavs just got stifled. I think the Nuggets would have given us an overall better series. Don’t think the Celtics have anyone who can guard Jokic.

re Bass, kicking seems similar to golf. I know there golfers out there that kind of practice slices and pulls, and then practice correcting those. Maybe he is doing the same? It’s good to practice figuring out mechanics and how to fix things so if he has to do it on game day, he knows how to adjust.

reminds me of how the Steelers won both their recent super bowls. Couldn’t beat the pats. In both their runs, another team knocked off the pats for them.

big debate in my house how to pronounce this. Options: 1) Nee-yo-kee 2) nee-yaw-kee 3) no-kee 4) naw-kee i think 1 is right and 2 is acceptable (though I seem to use them both myself). But I have heard 3 and 4 too.

Luca is just obnoxious with the crying. I saw this one clip from the last series where he ran into a guy and baited a foul call. Then, he ran up to him after to try to challenge him like a tough guy. This other dude was just confused. when Luca doesn’t get a call, he cries. When gets fouled and gets the call, he cries about the injustice of being fouled. Then, when someone else cries to the refs, he runs up and complains that they aren’t Teed up. the dude is a great player. Just stop with all the nonsense. People are starting to hate his guts because of this stuff.

congrats! Mavs played a heck of a series! I thought the wolves would win, but the Mavs were just more clutch down the stretch. I have always disliked Kyrie due to his off-court stuff, but he seems to have really mellowed. If he had only just been a normal guy, he would be so much more respected as a great player. He played a great series. Luca too just was on point. Just wish he would stop his constant whining and foul baiting! I will be rooting for them in the finals!

Agreed. Seems like a lot of this stuff is new. by the way, my nephew was allergic to eggs for a while. Turns out that he could actually eat organic farm fresh eggs though. Your buddy may want to try that.
