  1. its just a matter of how much Josh wants to throw to the RBs. He could have thrown to DS about 20 times last game and gotten 8 yards a chunk every time, especially with the Pack missing two key LBs. He had one dump down to him, and it went for 16 yards. I just think Josh still loathes those check downs. You look at Eckler in LA. Herbert looks to his first WR option and if not there, usually checks it down. Eckler always makes a guy miss, and he ends up with like 8-10 catches for 90 yards. Hines could easily match or even exceed that production, if Josh feels like it.
  2. Welp, good effort by Texans. Just not good enough.
  3. Is the eagles oline really good, or just the Texans D not very good? Hurts has a lot of time on most throws.
  4. On that 3rd and 9, they were better off just running pierce. You knew there was no chance Mills was going to do anything there.
  5. my favorite Keanu Reeves movie is “point break”! Great surfing movie!
  6. 1) My personal favorite is the original Karate Kid (probably obvious from my screen name!) 2) in terms of the “classics,” it’s tough to pick just one great movie. I think of very minimalist movies as being some of the greats— like “”12 Angry Men,” which was basically all in one room. Or, “Rope,” which Hitchcock filmed with 10 long takes. One more recent similar movie that I have come to really appreciate is “ Castaway”— amazing how Tom Hanks could give such a compelling performance with so little dialogue.
  7. I like Casablanca because I was a Bogart fan when I was a kid. But you aren’t wrong. As I recall reading, the studios were just pumping out movies constantly around WW2, and this was just one of a bunch of sort of mindless movies they put out.
  8. No doubt. But what is interesting about most of the Bills turnovers is that I have a sense it is more of them almost messing around out there. The GB picks are good examples of that. So, you wonder if they sort of settle down and play smarter when they need to.
  9. can you believe how good the bills are? They have been relatively sloppy with turnovers and are still blowing teams out.
  10. So they have taken Antonio Williams and now Isaiah Hodgins from us?! Who is next— Christian Wade?!
  11. i literally would not trade Claypool for even Zach Moss. Claypool is not and will never be a good receiver. Some guys just don’t have “it,” despite having all the measurables. He is like the wide receiver equivalent of super human Leif Larsen.
  12. Bills 23-10. let’s play a clean, smart game!
  13. which makes this trade even more unbelievably stupid by the broncos. Who trades their stud top-5 pick pass rusher who is currently having a great season? Even if the broncos suddenly decided to rebuild (despite trading away their 1st and 2nd round picks in both of the next two drafts and despite just paying a franchise QB a billion dollars), Chubb is a guy you pay or franchise tag.
  14. I think the numbers are just fabricated. Looks like the real numbers show Chubb in top-3 in NFL in pressure rate.
  15. Gotta be smart. Let the jets beat themselves. Just don’t turn the ball over, kick FG’s and get points when you can. Sound special teams and defense. No penalties. we don’t need kill shots or big plays or high risk stuff. This jets team has a great D and awful O. We can and should win this game like 23-10.
  16. I have no real recollection of him when we was here. Anyone want to fill me in?
  17. doesnt this mean he will just head back to the PS?
  18. i believe he was on his way in for the physical— but they just prophylactically placed him on IR.
  19. I wish Moss all the best. He was meh for us. But I think this trade will Really work out well for him. He will do a lot better in the Colts style running attack (more gap and duo). if you are a fantasy player, I would recommend picking him up.
  20. I think that’s because he is mostly a third down back and JT gets all the Carries.
