    Ugh, bad loss. Wake pretty much dominated in every way possible. Offense, defense, inside, outside, transition, rebounding, physicality, speed. not sure I have seen as thorough a beat down as that.

    it is an interesting idea to Shift Taron to safety and play with Williams, Bernard, and Milano on the field more— or at least use that package more often. i do think though they are going to need to sign or draft more safeties regardless, and I really think we need a better backup to Taron as the nickel. When he is out, the entire defense Can’t function.

    But aren’t these players potentially taking spots away from other college players who could really use the exposure? if these college players don’t want to play in the game, then don’t accept the invitation, IMO.

    If you are going to the senior bowl and all the practices, you shouldn’t be able to opt out of the game. It should be a requirement for the invitation.

    They are 100% keeping jones and I suspect will pay him good money, with maybe an out after 2 years. He is a risk with age, but a risk worth taking. Shaq and Phillips probably back on the same 1-year vet deals. i think everyone else walks.

    i wonder if this could mean, in part, that Josh was less accurate and/or the receivers’ routes weren’t as accurate— which could be a reflection of running new stuff?

    knowing the patriots, they will sign someone like Ryan Tannehill And trade down from their first round pick.

    What was pitiful too about those games was how there would be “fans” in the stadium wearing random jersey shirts from teams that weren’t even playing in the game!

    9 turnovers is insane; how is that even possible? I haven’t seen that game since it aired (for obvious reasons), but now am curious to go back and watch it. (I do remember one of the SB’s against Dallas, we were up at halftime!).

    was there any difference between our patchwork defense and the ravens #1 defense? Neither could stop Mahomes. might as well invest in an explosive offense.

    I had the opposite take re “defenses win championships.” Seems to Me elite QB play wins, and great defenses can’t do anything about that.
