NY Giants @ Buffalo Bills - SNF 1st half game thread
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Offense needs to get into a rhythm. Josh can get 10-yarders all day. Get guys involved. Knox Seems to be wide open out there. How about getting him involved? -

Good game plan here by the giants. Bootlegs, quick little passes. I think the Bills would be better just rushing 4, and kind of playing the short stuff. -

Stinks, because Gabe was looking good. Also, what’s the point in running boot legs when Josh refuses to throw to a wide open Knox? -
Haha. So dumb. They were going to let them score there!

Going to predict Zach Wilson GW drive here!

How is this even an argument that it isn’t a catch? We have to defy common sense again with these rules.

To my eye, dolphins pass to set up the run, and San Fran does the opposite. Both very balanced. Dolphins actually lead the NFL in rushing yards per game. All I know is that in the fourth quarter when the other team is coming from behind, the Dolphins present much more of a challenge. Even today, it was a total fluke that The Niners even got into field goal range. They threw a 4-yard curl to Ayuik and no one tried to tackle him for like 40 yards. That said, they are both very challenging offenses to stop.

yeah, don’t disagree with that. The personnel in Miami with Hill and waddle then adding and Achane and Mostert makes SF’s personnel look pedestrian.
-
What kind of play call was that? Makes me thankful that we have a QB who we can trust. Half these NFL offenses are gimmicky.
-
McDaniel’s is just as balanced. It’s just not based entirely off of the run. Even if they had McCaffrey and Debo, against a good defense, you aren’t fooling anyone in obvious passing situations with their personnel. The reality is that McDaniel has just taken Shanahan’s offense and with his personnel in Miami totally elevated it, and made a way more explosive passing game.
-
agree. I think they would agree too. The offense is built entirely off the threat of a run game. It’s what makes McDaniel’s variation of the Shanahan offense in Miami so much better.

Our next opponent….The NY Football Giants
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree. That said, Tyrod has to be one the unluckiest QBs when it comes to injuries. I hope I am wrong about this, but I could see him getting banged up and leaving the game with the kind of pressure he will be under. Their oline is awful. -
Umm. Why are these the doppelgängers of Maddy glad and Sean McDermott?

This giants team is probably in worse shape injury wise than we are! -

I had four battles this year. I had one black wasp nest on a tree that looked like a beach ball. It was cartoonish. Took 3 sprays bottles To bring it down. I have realized in my battle with the ground nests this past summer that sprays are useless. You need the powder. I dumped a ton of powder on one, and then dug it up, and did more powder the next night. That seemed to work. here is the powder: https://www.amazon.com/Spider-Ground-Bee-Killer/dp/B00QV3YUUG/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=30AR3B3U5HUO0&keywords=ground+bee+powder&qid=1696972621&sprefix=ground+bee+powder%2Caps%2C157&sr=8-2 -
Miami dealt a blow! - Achane out multiple weeks!
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to BillsDiehard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. Achane is great, but have you seen the holes he runs through on those long TDs? The dolphins oline and run scheme is just clicking. -
I was worried about this, and totally agree. Did a nice job staying with it, and we almost came back.

Kaiir Elam is a liability any time he is on the field

This is worse than I thought. https://x.com/kevinmassare/status/1711503165441401088?s=46&t=uEztWLHQe9squs0mVCzJCQ -
Bills signing Josh Norman - yes, seriously
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. It has to be that McD just trusts Norman as another vet coach in the CB room to Help groom these guys and teach them the scheme, especially with Tre now gone. -

agree completely. I don’t think Elam is a lost cause. And if Norman had nothing to offer in 2020, I am not sure what changed. -

The funny thing is I remember when Josh Norman was washed up, and it was in 2016 when he played for the Redskins!! This is just really humorous. -

this is almost worse for what it says about Elam. We will take a guy that was washed up a full 3 years ago and sitting at home for years, over Elam?
