  1. I remember exactly where I was when both of those injuries occurred and can picture them both so vividly (same with Shane Conlan’s knee injury). you could especially feel the impact of Cowart. Just knew that the team wouldn’t make it without him.
  2. changing to claypool?! I would change it to Ryan Fitzpatrick!
  3. I am more of a Cones of Dunshire guy.
  4. Davis reminds me of 2002 Travis Henry!
  5. Bishop back there now with Rapp And Kareem Jackson— two guys that will recklessly nail their own guy with friendly fire! I hope that’s not what happened.
  6. I was surprised at the number of very small kids (toddlers and babies). Those kids were struggling. my kids are 9, 10, And 13. One of them had some issues with the heat at times, but otherwise all of them really enjoyed it. I have to think ages 8-12 is the sweet spot.
  7. I hate players like this. Even if not dirty in an intentional way, guys that play recklessly are dangerous. Shows a lack of instincts and smarts.
  8. I was wondering how I had heard of this guy before. Strikes me as an anti-process guy.
  9. my daughter got her face painted. All my Kids got a free autograph book and sharpie and free Bills car magnets and free chips and stickers. It was enough to keep them happy. My one 9-year old was getting over-heated and probably had enough after an hour, but the other two kids had no complaints. At the end of the day, they all said it was a great time.
  10. hey, at least I am honest. I could have been like the twitter experts and overexaggerate the significance of some meaningless blocking drills!
  11. I finally made it to camp post-Fredonia, with my kids. It was a great time and everyone at SJF was so friendly and professional. Here is my review of the 7/29 training practice: 1) Kids got a bunch of free stuff 2) Watched some players I never heard of running some mostly routine drills. Interspersed in there were some sweet passes by Josh and runs by Cook and Davis. 3) Waited with the kids as they got one autograph of some random player I never heard of. Overall, a great day!!
  12. If anyone has one extra ticket for the Monday 7/29 session, I would appreciate it. I am making a special trip out to Rochester with the family, but am still short one ticket. Thanks!
  13. how about the service animals? My very able bodied BIL And sister got one of their dogs designated as a “service dog” and just waltz right on. Meanwhile, I am battling with the other C boarders for a non-middle seat or trying to figure out how not to get my young kids strewn across the plane I random seats. This is the winner.
  14. Going on Monday with the kids. Any tips on getting autographs?
  15. I think he was there before we signed him, right? I actually always thought he was solid even as a backup LB, in addition to a ST player.
  16. Ugh. I am now only picturing the kids book “Make Way for Ducklings.”
  17. oh man, that stinks. Thanks for letting me know.
  18. I went to this same joint practice at Steelers camp years ago (Marrone era). Easier for Bills fans to go to this than to St. John Fisher. It’s just open fields and endless space and parking at Steelers camp.
  19. agreed! I am amazed at how good Josh is too. Not easy to be out there hitting in the 70s. Even though he can probably hit the ball a mile, you aren’t scoring in the 70s unless you have a great all-around game.
