  1. Imagine how great Hines would be looking…. If we also used him on offense!
  2. Gonna be some obvious rust here. These guys clearly didn’t practice all week.
  3. I have only see this happen against the bills. Out corner sticks his arm in, blocks the ball, and yet it magically goes through for a catch. Literally every Jefferson catch was like that last week.
  4. While Northeastern looks pretty bad, glad Syracuse bounced back, esp on the offensive end. Mintz getting to the rim is exciting. that said, Bennie Williams remains totally bewildering to me. I couldn’t even explain his offensive game if I tried.
  5. But the “Buffaloes”?! Come on! That’s just idiotic! Here is the quote: "I was a Buffalo, I was ready to be a Buffalo," he told Washington reporters Thursday, per ESPN’s John Keim. "I was moving on to a new organization. I was excited. I felt wanted."
  6. Is it just me, but it bothered me hearing McKissick talk about how he “almost went to the Buffaloes”— like he didn’t realize the team name is the Bills and the city is Buffalo. Maybe I am being too sensitive! 🤔
  7. This is a tough one. The bills actually shut cook totally down last week… except for 1 play! they could actually stymie Chubb, or he could have over 200 yards. Just can’t get a beat on this run defense.
  8. I remember years ago (20+ years ago) going to a Detroit symphony concert. I parked in a some lot that was basically a burned out old warehouse. Thought I would die, but that was where everyone was Parking. We all basically sprinted from our cars to the concert hall. That said, went to Detroit in 2018, and the downtown was much improved. Not sure what it looks like now though post-Covid.
  9. haha. I can see it now. No receivers line up, and we have 4 RBs all go out and run check down routes. “your move, Mr. Allen. Your move.”
  10. seriously, insane. That said, I would argue that his one catch at the goal line was also spectacular. The ball was deflected mid air, Benford then got his hand in to deflect it again at the Point of contact, and jefferson dove down and still caught it. This was right before their failed QB sneak.
  11. What’s better than building a dome stadium? Borrowing your buddy’s for free!
  12. Agreed. That said, Jefferson made about 5 catches just like that during the game with the DB’s arm in the way. I still have no idea how.
  13. All good! Probably should have used an emoji. But I agree with your prior post!
  14. I am thankful that Tre White has been able to get such restful nights sleep, laying his head on his soft piles of money.
  15. Kinda wonder if Allen forced that last throw to Gabe because he knew the options start looking meager if they had just plodded down to inside the 10.
  16. we used to do this a little with Onuwaku— sort of run the offense inside out. Also, at least one problem is these guys can’t or won’t pass.
  17. does Bellichick have any successful head coaches from his coaching tree? (I don’t really count Nick Saban, who was an NFL failure). your description of Vrabel here is something I probably could have written verbatim. I will note though that he never coached under Bellichick. I also read that his time playing for Pittsburgh may have influenced his coaching more than his time as a player in NE.
  18. This is a game where it helps to have Hines. Just dump it off to him a bunch.
  19. wind looking like 18 MPH, but gusts over 35 MPH. That may be the biggest issue with the weather this week.
  20. Welp, the annual blow-out loss to Colgate. I have no idea what Syracuse does on offense. Just a bunch of guys running iso. Looks like a YMCA game.
