    It’s amazing how similar kicking is to golf. He just needs to get into a rhythm. The cold didn’t help today too.

    Agreed. Called a great game. I don’t understand the recent criticisms of him. He offers actual x and o analysis— probably the only guy that does so.

    There were a number of plays that I think qualify for the “play of the game”— i.e., without it, the game could have gone the other way. Elam pick, Josh Allen 4th down sneak conversion, Shakir TD, etc. what do you got?

    i agree that a fake slide is bad form, but he didn’t fake slide. Not even close.

    in the Steelers-ravens game last week, there were 4 plays in a row that Rudolph was either strip sacked or nearly strip sacked. Maybe they are thinking Von can exploit that.

    isn’t Elam the top backup at CB today? In a game like this, I think he is going to see some snaps, even if there is no injury.

    agreed. I think he takes it only because of Herbert. but I don’t see it as more attractive than staying at Michigan. i also think harbaugh has really morphed into a great college coach. Would be curious to see if he can transition back to more of an NFL style coach.

    I wouldn’t mind activating all four RBs for this game (assuming Ty can even play).

    i just hope this isn’t like those games where we seem like we are actively trying to lose. if we play well and still lose, then I am fine. If we are just dropping balls, and making other unforced errors, then I will be despondent.

    are there no machines that the team can use? You would think they would have a better system in place.

    for real, what do you do if you are the dolphins? They have hit their ceiling. Not sure how they can improve.

    My Steelers fan buddy said that their ILBs are basically practice squad guys. He is worried about Allen basically stepping up and just taking off up the field.

    that’s technically not true. Steelers only won the Super Bowl in 2005 and 2011 because some other team eliminated the patriots in the playoffs for them.

    I agree with the sentiment, but I suspect they waited as long they could.

    Weather is looking good now for the new game time. Looks pretty clear, wind speed is average. Gusts might be a little higher, but nothing to worry about. Bills may have dodged a bullet here, As they should be able to run their normal gameplan.

    agreed. That’s what I am seeing. it will mean we should be able to throw relatively well. snow is a crapshoot, but probably 50/50 it misses the stadium.

    I think the reports of wind are exaggerated based on the forecasts I am seeing.

    good point. But there isn’t a guy on this team that I trust though. I can guarantee you some guy like Neal— who has no spatial awareness— will have a ball hit his leg or something while blocking.
