yeah, you might be right re the injury history. But with his poise, he hasn’t even taken a hit tonight. Just moves so well in the pocket. i just looked up some draft profiles and some ”experts” question his accuracy and touch. From the few Washington games I have seen, those seem like absurd criticisms.

I don’t understand how a lot of sites have him as a 2nd round pick. He looks like the best QB in the draft. His pocket presence is insane.

The nice thing about playing Miami is that we know exactly what they are going to do. We can have any short route we want. Hopefully we just chip away.

I don’t think so. They aren’t asking Rudolph to do that much, and he isn’t playing out of his mind. He is playing like a competent backup QB, which he is. Making accurate throws when he has time. Going through his progressions. Not forcing things. I never understood why the Steelers went with trubisky over him. It is clear that trubisky isn’t an NFL caliber QB.

Agreed. Pittsburgh is playing well. with decent QB play now, their entire O is rejuvenated. Their D and ST has always been elite. if they make the playoffs as a 7, I really don’t want to face them.

Short yardage execution errors today. 3rd and 2 drop by Murray. 3rd and 1 stuff on Murray run. if you convert those, it’s probably points both times. Defense on that last drive seemed gassed.

I agree. That said, college bball is definitely weird to follow generally these days. it’s basically like watching AAU games now. I miss the days when you can see a group of guys develop for 4 years.

what’s weird about our offense is it seems like we can only always get one guy going at a time. It’s either Diggs or Cook or Gabe, etc. I feel like it would help the entire offense to run more set plays for Kincaid and others to get them into a rhythm (eg, TE screens). we always gripe when a guy drops the ball. Well, It’s a lot easier to catch balls if you have had more chances and are in the flow of the game.

agreed re Benny. Loved his energy and hustle. As bunch as Pitt was dominating early too on the boards, Benny and Maliq came in in that second half and we ended up coming out ahead rebounding. i still wish though Benny wouldn’t shoot that weird flat shot. Get a little more arc to it!

Great win! Pitt and Syracuse look like pretty similar teams. I think we finally Figured out how to put teams away in the second half. That was really the difference. continue to love Copeland! He definitely has his moments where he plays too out of control, but I think we live with that.

you might be right on that comp. Or even Trubisky, who really shouldn’t even be in the league. if I am Wilson, I go to a team with a real QB developer as the coach and try to get back in the game.
