  1. This is sarcasm? OK? He's been double teamed all year and Delhomme has quit looking for him. Smith now has a worse attitude than he had before. I still wouldn't discount him. The Panthers have beaten the Redskins and Bucs, two team that suck (that's a rhyme). The Bills have beaten The Bucs and Jets, one team that sucks, and another team that its QB sucked beyond belief that day. I'd say the Bills-Panthers game is a tossup, based on whose QB doesn't suck as bad as the other's. How's that for a great analysis?
  2. Does someone have to start this thread every week? Enough already of the same crap... Fred's better No, Marshawn's better. No, give it to the hot hand. We're lucky to have them both. Yes, we should split the carries and keep them fresh. End of thread...
  3. I don't think Hamdan is an answer. As much as everyone wants to tout him on TSW, he has not shown me anything in preseason. Granted, he has not had his regular season shot, and everyone should deserve that shot. Just my opinion, but I am not holding my breath that he'll do anything great, if he finally gets his shot. Being a Bills fan, I'm used to setting my expectations low now. As far as having Fitzpatrick in there, it was nice to see him open up the field and make Lee Evans relevant once again. All in all, I was very pleased with his performance. I now have delusions of a Bills win in Charlotte and breaking my string of viewing road losses (Cards, Steelers, Bears, Saints, skipped a year, Cowboys) in person.
  4. Ralph's legacy was written during the AFL-NFL merger and that is why he's in the HOF. He's not worried about his legacy now, especially considering the current state of the Buffalo Bills. He's laughing all the way to the bank, as are his heirs. Marv is probably rationalizing that if Trent Edwards had a better O Line in front of him, he'd be like Aikman, Young, Favre, et al.
  5. Dish Network gets Versus. I'm tempted. Does anyone have Dish?
  6. Tyler Myers looks great. Maybe the Sabres scouting staff should give the Bills scouts some pointers. GO SABRES!
  7. So when DJ gets fired, Cameron will be promoted?
  8. This makes a lot of sense if there's anything to it. This season is gone, and I think T.O. would go for a trade to Chicago. The Bills need to stockpile picks and getting rid of T.O. is the right move for all parties. Ralph would be very pleased with the cost savings. Think he'd pass any cost recoupment back to season ticket holders?
  9. A fire sale is a great idea. Unfortunately, the Bills have just become the Pittsburgh Pirates.
  10. Maybe T.O. can tryout players on his reality show, a la Michael Irvin. I can't believe how many injuries the Bills sustain year after year.
  11. Why the extension was given is a mystery to me other than we have not had a competent front office since a firing took place in 2001. Ralph Wilson has been in over his head since the days of Polian and Butler ended with the Bills. It will be one bad decision after another until he passes on. He doesn't want to pay any more than he has to either to the front office of the coaching staff. This season is lost and we're playing for a #1 draft pick. The paper bags will be plentiful at the Ralph. I don't think Ralph cares about the fans as long as he has his season ticket revenue. I guess he'll hope that the top pick will sell tickets for next year.
  12. This season is already another lost cause. Jauron will finish out the season because as Schefter says, there is no better interim candidate. As Lee Evans says, firing the coach won't solve anything. We know Jauron sucks, but the problem is way deper than the head coach. the flames started about 16 years ago and the fuel was added to the fire about eight years ago. We have not recovered since.
  13. First game changing play was Aaron Schobel jumping offside when we stopped them on a third down forcing them to punt. The second chance led to the Browns first FG. I don't need to bring up the second.
  14. Lynch was the better back yesterday by far. He was the only positive out there, and I was questioning why he didn't get more touches yesterday. I like Fred Jackson too. I've said it before, we're lucky to have both of them. For anyone to say Jackson is way better than Lynch in lunacy. As far as trade value goes, of course Lynch has more value...younger, stronger, harder to bring down.
  15. A nightmare scenario...Hiring Matt Millen as GM could be Ralph's next brilliant move. He'd be a cheap hire and he has a connection to Detroit, two things that Ralph loves. Why have two imposters when you can go get the biggest f-up in football front office history?
  16. L.A. and Toronto are licking their chops over the developments in Buffalo and Jacksonville. No matter how bad this team plays, someone out there will be willing to pay plenty for this team.
  17. Just like the Oakland Raiders, the Bills problem is at the top. I listened to Ralph Wilson's HOF speech and he talked about the early days and his efforts to make the AFL-NFL merger happen. That was the last time he accomplished anything in the NFL. It was Bill Polian and John Butler who were the architects of the Bills glory days. Ralph was just along for the ride. Since then, Ralph ran Polian out of town, followed by Butler. He hired Tom Donahoe after listening to the "braintrust" at ESPN who convinced him that Donahoe was a genius. He has hired Gregg Williams, Mike Mularkey and Dick Jauron, three horrible hires. He has no front office because he is too cheap to invest in any talent there. If Ralph Wilson can't guarantee that the Bills will stay in Buffalo after he passes, he may as well move them now. He is not doing Buffalo any favors, he is only delaying the inevitable. Ralph, sell the team to someone who gives a damn instead of allowing the Bills to die along with you. Like most Bills fans, I am so sick of this Sh!+. GO SABRES!!!
