How does it feel to live in denial about your obsession? I'm not the one that posts the same quotes again. At least be original. Snore. Deja vu Leach dug his own grave. The Big 12 got a lot more classy and Texas Tech got a great coach with the Tuberville hire. I laugh at Leach and feel sorry about your obsession for this clown.

The moniker RayFinkle might fit him better (but unlike Ray in the movie, he is obsessed in a clearly loving way)

So they want to paint a picture of the driver as a bigger d-bag. I have no problem with it if it helps paint a picture of his lack of responsibility AND character. Unfortunately, sometimes a person's purpose in life ends with being an object lesson for others to learn from. There is a lesson taught by both of these individuals that should be inherent in everyone. Pay attention while driving and get off the interstate if at all possible when you need to call for help.

Quit drinking that kool aid. -
I wasn't touting Lifeson as tops, I just expected as popular as Rush is, someone would mention him. I love his playing, but like I said, being #3 in a trio doesn't get him much credit. As far as you ripping on him, I really don't know where that's coming from, but whatever, you're entitled to your opinion. Page, Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Van Halen

A Buffalo crowd that doesn't bring up Alex Lifeson? Pretty tough being overshadowed all the time by the drummer and bass player in your band.
-
I can't believe he is up to $17. I did not know that the Vikings have never even led a Super Bowl. Makes our 0-4 record look much better than theirs.

RW is very very cheap in his hiring
buffaloaggie replied to zazie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But it is the Bills main problem, as well as the Raiders and Redskins, but not every team. Jerry Jones handed the reigns over to Bill Parcells and Parcells got the Cowboys back on the right track. Besides Snyder, you can't get much more meddlesome than Jerry Jones. Wilson has made all the wrong moves starting with Polian's firing. No one looks at the Bills as a viable franchise and will not until new ownership is in place, or if Nix is a miracle worker. Flutie had success with the Bills because he could escape pressure and he was a field general. The OL protection was not as important for him. Bledsoe and Edwards were statues and needed a strong OL. Losman could run, but he is just a moron. You're right somewhat with your last statement, but again, we traded up for Losman, yet we could have had Aaron Rodgers the next season. Bad GM moves. Our problem is 90-95 percent a meddling owner who got what he paid for in the front office and on his coaching staff. -

Does Ralph Owe Buffalo a Succession Plan?
buffaloaggie replied to wisebill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ralph's work on the AFL-NFL merger got him his Hall of Fame induction. The Bills going to four SB's was icing on the cake. He does not owe Buffalo anything, but as others have said, it is the right thing to do. Loyalty should count for something. Buffalo has supported this team through good times and bad. -
Do you honestly think he'd find a job anywhere else? He's rehashing things that have been said over and over on TSW. We don't need to hear it again. He needs to dig up something we don't know and write about it. Until then, turn the page.

It'd be kind of cool to have a Big Ten-SEC football challenge similar to the basketball challenges. Alabama vs. Ohio State Florida vs Iowa LSU vs Penn State Mississippi vs Wisconsin Auburn vs Northwestern Arkansas vs Michigan State Georgia vs Purdue Tennessee vs Minnesota South Carolina vs Illinois Kentucky vs Michigan
-
The top to bottom argument might have something to do with the SEC placed 10 teams in bowl games to the Big Ten's 7. The records were 6-4 for the SEC and 4-3 for the Big Ten. No real difference. Way to go Big Ten. The year before was closer in bowl count, 8-7 SEC, but the records were 6-2 SEC vs 1-6 for the Big Ten. We can go back further. 2006 and 2007 were good for the SEC. The Big Ten? Not so much. 2005 was almost a better year for the Big Ten compared to the SEC.
-
The SEC's chip on their shoulder comes from an undefeated Auburn team getting left out of the BCS Championship game in 2004, as Oklahoma got routed by USC that year in the championship. As far as the Big Ten fans touting almost .500 record against the SEC in recent bowl games, if you go back and count 1995-1998, the SEC won 7 out of 8 those years. Anyone can make data look good for them, as long as you cut it off when convenient to support their point. The Big Ten can't change one fact, as many have pointed out, when the game really counts, Ohio State and the Big Ten are 0-2 against the SEC. The best of the SEC dominates the best of the Big Ten.

Palin signs deal with FOX News
buffaloaggie replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You'd figure that if a news network made an "honest" mistake, they wouldn't repeat it again, but not Fox. It does just so happen that they label disgraced Republicans as Democrats not once but multiple times. I love people who are in denial. Open your eyes folks. I'm not a big supporter of Fox or MSNBC. I do tune in CNN when I watch news, but I have to wade through the slant that they spew too. Fox would be last on the list if I want honesty. -
Lane Kiffin taking USC Job
buffaloaggie replied to HurlyBurly51's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm hearing Kiffin's buyout was only $800K. Very cheap. Tennessee was stupid for putting that in his contract. They made it easy for him to leave. I bet they will write escalators in a buyout next time if the coach leaves so close to National Signing Day. Tennessee is in big trouble concerning recruiting. Hopefully, their recruits really want to play at UT. -
Lane Kiffin taking USC Job
buffaloaggie replied to HurlyBurly51's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is right. Kiffin came to UT, made a total jerk out of himself by making ridiculous accusations about Urban Meyer and did a crappy job while he was coaching. In his press conference, after Kiffin heaped nothing but kind words for UT, a reporter asked Kiffin "Out of respect for Tennessee fans, can you answer three questions?". Kiffin just walked away. Gutless SOB. -
This makes even better sense.
-
Maybe the fact that the Bills have not even offered him anything yet. It could also explain Adam Schefter's report that Cowher would not be coaching the Bills. Who knows? Official speculation from BB.com? What I wouldn't get though is why would Cowher play along as a second fiddle, if Brian Schott. has been their man all along?

Palin signs deal with FOX News
buffaloaggie replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's just that all of the networks now seem to be into polarization of news viewpoints, rather than presenting an unbiased opinion. Fox seemed to push this polarization, but I agree that MSNBC is carrying the left's torch. At least CNN had some competent conservative viewpoints as opposed to that stooge Alan Colmes who was supposed to be the voice of the liberals on Fox. Now they ALL seem to be one extreme or the other. Personally, I get more out of watching the Daily Show, which is at least a laugh because of humor rather than disbelief.
