  1. Is Fanspoll.com run by Auburn grads? Auburn won their bowl game 16-13, USC won 55-19. Despite the flaws in the BCS, I think picking USC was the right choice that year. This was the last time that the SEC was overlooked. Who knows what would've happened if Auburn had played USC. What do you do with three or four unbeatens? Playoffs! Jason Campbell is not worth trading for. If we trade Whitner, we need to trade for draft picks. Picking up Campbell would be another desperation type move by the Bills. I don't think he'd be the answer at QB. I've seen enough Skins games as well and totally agree with the Virginia contingent.
  2. I scratched my head at most of Marv's moves as GM. Marv was not qualified as a GM. Ralph was desperate to get a link to the success of the 90's back for failing franchise. He hired Marv and appeased Bills fans with his presence. Then, as Bills fans realized Marv's inability as a GM, they turned on Wilson and rightly so. I agree that Marv continued our mediocrity at best. His success rate with his moves are probably even below the Mendoza line. His draft picks lacked talent, lacked character, and basically did not make a lot of sense other than being desperate. This franchise has been in desperation mode since getting rid of Polian and Butler and their moves reflect the desperation by reaching for Whitner and McCargo, overpaying for Walker and Dockery. Our OL got better due to the development of Peters as well as those two's presence, but yes the two weren't worth the money. I didn't mind the trade up for Poz. Edwards may have been OK if he hadn't sustained the concussion against the Cards. He has obviously not been the same since. Hiring Jauron was a horrible move...duh. Levy = Great Coach, bad GM, but not the worst in the NFL by far, not even the worst in Bills history.
  3. I'd be curious what some of the other questions were. We play trivia here in Atlanta all the time. Sounds like a great contest. Congrats!
  4. Getting the #1 seed is unbelievably huge. USA Czech Finland Belarus/Swiss vs. Sweden Russia Canada Slovakia
  5. I think everyone agrees taking Robinson in the 3rd (or 4th or 5th) is too early. Otherwise, I think it's a pretty good mock. In spite of the name, I love the pick of Norwood. Very disruptive LB at South Carolina.
  6. The game will set records for viewing in Canada. I doubt many in the US even know it's on MSNBC. I don't get why they couldn't at least put it on Universal HD.
  7. Dolphins passed on Drew Brees twice The article explains the whole Dolphins/Brees situation. Dolphins went with Culpepper instead
  8. The market for a RB that has fallen out of favor is a couple of thirds and a later round pick judging from what we got for McGahee. Sounds like we wouldn't be getting fair value by swapping the Chargers 1st for our 2nd. As far as that article saying SD could get Marshawn for a 4th, give me a break. Not even worth discussing that stupidity.
  9. If we address the OL in Free Agency, we can draft the franchise QB. Just don't know how busy the Bills will be in an uncapped season coming up. No QB that might be made available by another team or through FA is going to be the franchise guy.
  10. I hope this scenario happens. These guys change their mock drafts just so someone will read their column. Just tune out until April.
  11. Clausen has peaked under Weis' mentoring. I'd love to say Clausen is the answer, but the more I think about it, the more I think of Brady Quinn's performance so far with the Browns and draw parallels from how he's doing.
  12. Didn't pretty much everyone say before this past season that it would be a make or break year for Edwards with Evans and Owens to throw to? I'd say Trent Edwards is broken.
  13. Ten years and counting for not making the playoffs coupled with no longer having any marquis names on the roster and mediocre talent makes the Bills pretty irrelevant. T.O. was the only reason there was any interest in the Bills this past year. For those of you who take offense to Barkley's statement, ask yourself, how many Bills games will be Sunday or Monday night games this year? Then, the irrelevancy will sink in.
  14. Couldn't agree more. I was very disappointed in the clip they showed.
  15. I have no problem with raising ticket prices, but if we sit tight and do nothing in FA, the Bills are headed for disaster. They do not have the greatest reputation to attract FA's based on Pisa Tinoisamoa's reason for not signing with the Bills last year. Not hat we missed anything based on him getting hurt, but his lame excuse that he wanted to earn the job and not just be annointed a starter made me think he had little intention of signing with the Bills and using their offer to jack up the Bears offer.
  16. Canes fans are little jerks. I went to a Thrashers game against the Canes here in Atlanta, and they come in with hurricane flags tied to a hockey stick and when they'd wave the stick, they "accidently" hit fans around them. Obviously, ushers had to step in. I have no compassion for Caniacs. They're the most pathetic fans. They had trouble selling out their playoff games when the Sabres played them.
  17. I see this as Ralph's last chance to build a team through Free Agency. He has not done anything to bring in FA's. He had the chance to build last year when he brought in TO, but he got no one else. This raising of ticket prices without any significant free agent signings this offseason will finally cement his supposed reputation as a money sucking owner who is trying to milk Bills fans of every last dollar. Patience is not even a word we can use any more. 10 years of absolute crap.
  18. Thomas was officially released, along with Torry Holt. Did Thomas not play much last year because they drafted Eugene Monroe and Eben Britton? While he may not be worth the $5 Mil they signed him for, he may be worth adding for depth, and as a stop gap in case we want to address one of our many other needs with the #9 pick.
  19. Looks like we're going to have a glut of OLBs.
  20. Hopefully, those contractors did a good job on his house or else he'll be looking for you. That's actually pretty cool. Put in a good word for the Bills and encourage him to join his former teammate Kawika Mitchell, if you cross paths again.
  21. He doesn't remember the move for Bledsoe, does he? That move did not get us far. 9-7, but still no playoff berth.
  22. I have to ask why he's saying all this now. I think he may be trying to convince the NFL that now that he's found himself, he actually has something to offer another NFL club because he wasn't trying as hard as he should in Atlanta. I can totally believe he's lazy and obviously, he's not very smart. He doesn't have much more to offer. Could he really convince another team believe that he can step up his game for them? No team could be THAT dumb. Ooof...I hope not. Lazy and dumb is never a good combination for your presumed franchise QB.
  23. I think Ivanovic is hot, but Andy Roddick is the luckiest guy on Earth. Mrs Roddick
  24. The guy is definitely harsh, but it really is not anything that hasn't been said on TSW. He makes some good points, like NO is not playing a game elsewhere, but Ralph has kept ticket prices down. It just allows scalpers to have a lower base cost. The Sabres have done a brilliant job by tiering games to make Leafs, Pens and Canadiens fans pay a premium. I'm not sure if the Bills charge different prices for single games based on an opponent.
